look, if somebody brings up the Khmer Rouge, they also have to talk about Vietnam (and the brutal, genocidal bombing of Cambodia which helped Pol Pot tremendously, who was China's guy anyway, so the western powers were basically Ok with him countering the Soviet ally Vietnam), Indonesia, East Timor, etc... because it's one package.

It's like talking about the bombing of Dresden without mentioning Hitler, or previous scenes of WW2....

They didn't actually help him commit genocide though, so they can't be held more responsible then Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge. I'm not saying there weren't atrocities commited by the US and the west though, in fact I know there are, such as Iraq and Afghanistan, and the Dresden raids, but to blame the west for all genocides is not fair in the ones they didn't contribute to.

I am very happy to see that these poor soul recieve some help if not alot of help,they are traumatize by the whole ordeal,four years of shear hell is alot to bare and psychological evaluation is necessary,some of these people may never find help,they are scarred for life.A khme rouge trial is good,someon need to be help accountable,but it doesen't bring back their babies,husband,fathers,daughte­rs,sons and their sanity.
