  • A few years ago I rode Christini all wheel drive bicycle. It was way too heavy back then and I believe they improved upon the weight. When comes to mountain bikes all wheel drive gives a significant advantage in traction in wet and muddy condition as well as in the sand.

  • What are the advantages over rear wheel drive other then being a cool gimmick...

  • Where do you pujt your feet LOL.. I don't see anywhere safe to put your feet..

  • DO A TWO WHEEL DRIVE DOUNUT I wood WATCH THAT

  • woah thats freaky, the front chainring spinning but the pedals aint

  • Nice....let's see this baby run under load. What are the real life specs, & performance numbers?

  • ALL WHEEL DRIVE, WE CAN FINALLY BIKE IN BLIZZARDS

  • nice bike i love it

  • Looks like the back wheel it going a touch faster than the front, probably an optical illusion, but so is me being rich, famous with great abs.

  • @HostileHST

Wondered how the front is going around without the rear?

The front drive is connected to the drive of the rear using a pair of pinions, so the speed should be matched assuming they accurately calculated and built the pinions.

With this, it also means pedalling without a motor drives the front wheel :p

As there is no kind of slip/differential it will act like an AWD car having locked centre dif (not rear/front dif as this only has 2 wheels :p).

  • @drsquirrel0

I already knew how they make them and it does appear the pinions are not perfectly matched. My son and wife notice it also. Probably just my pixels running at higher refresh rate on the left side of my monitor vs. the right side being a tad slower. HAHA, as if.

  • @HostileHST More likely the camera filming, same effect that causes CMOS Wobble?

There is freewheel between the 2 pinions (I've only just noticed, at the end when they stop the wheels) so there is some slip so it shouldn't be an issue then.

  • @drsquirrel0

Ah, never noticed the front wheel being on a freewheel type set up, that would help a lot with any gear differences. Good eye! (granted I should of seen that too, duh).

  • why not just get two simple hub motors.

  • @garagecrap Better control, no skidding,no weight on front wheel, frontwheelhubs screw up front suspension, need i go on?

  • @garagecrap But no frontwheel drive at all is even better

  • how much, top speed when using the motor and without? plz tell =)

  • ★★★★★

  • Nice video. Nice bike. How much did it cost you to built one?

  • very nice, electric and you could use the pedles if you wonted to as well.
