  • Thank you for your artistry, its always a pleasant surprise when I see the email notification ..."privettricker has just uploaded a video " The first thing I do is grab my guitar and start to play along.... you're awesome dude !

  • Long live Roy. I'm also continually amazed by Tom Petty's quality output - the guy seems incapable of writing a bad song.

  • @ottocarpenter petty keeps expanding his limits. have you heard 'MOJO"? mike campbell bought a $250k, 1950's les paul burst. it has inspired him to new heights.

  • damn you got some songs down great playing man peace :O)

  • oh man its about time haha ive been waitin for this one for a long time, thanks man great as always

  • are you deading the E string playing F# note with the D and A chords

  • @larrysheetmetal I don't think he's deading it. It looks like he's fretting the F# which is just adding another F# like the high E string. He's changing the voicing of the chord. You don't have to do that, but if you don't, be sure not to strum the low E string when playing the D chord.. I think he lifts on the A chord...

  • @da324 Correct on all counts, although when I'm doing a full strum on a song like this, I'll mute that low E string just a little bit.
