@Dominik1992ZW A lot of the that misunderstanding is because hast and hass (sorry, no S set) are so similar sounding to us. Most Americans don't get the little subtleties of Deutsch, and that shitty episode of "Say What?" on MTV didn't help.

There's also things that simply don't translate, like todensucht, because we don't have any sort of equivalent.
