The problem with the 360 disk wasn't because of the size available, it's because microsoft demands 2 gigs of every disk to be dedicated to security measures.

I checked multiple sites and one of them said that Flynn was a playable character for a PORTION of the game. Not the entire time. I'm guessing that this plays in with the added content with the Ps3 edition.

Yup! It's the music from Sheratan in Baten Kaitos: Origins. Some of Sakuraba's (the music composer) best work is in the Baten Kaitos series, in my opinion. A third installment in the series would be a dream come true. It's pretty unlikely, though.

The new content is actually quite substantial. It's far more than just an additional character. New cutscenes, new skits, more voiced events, some changes to the story line, new animated cutscenes, additional bosses and dungeons, new costumes, etc. With changes to the story line, it's extremely unlikely that this will be released as DLC. I'm not sayingthat it's impossible to release some of the new content as DLC such as costumes, but we definitely won't be getting all the new content as DLC.

Going with the past remakes, chances are pretty low. But so far ToV has the highest chance of getting released due to its instant popularity. Also, if you look, the entire gameplay part is in English: "Talk", "Lighthouse Keeper's House", "Enter", "Loading", "Climb Up", "Open", "Information", and that whole bit about the pirate hat and "Pa...". But hopefully ToG will be better than KoR. I was disappointed that the sequel to one of my favorite games was so...ugh. The Wii needs redemption.

Agreed. Symphonia was the game that got me hooked on the Tales series, so I was pretty dissapointed too.

I was so pissed when I found out that all of the original characters couldn't get past LV 50.

It also was way too short. I felt like it was going at a good pace till the beggining of part 8, then it just felt rushed.

Not to mention the lack of an overworld map and costumes.

It did give us the most epic Mystic Arte ever though.

i'm actually playing ToS while writing this. It's so amazing. KoR would have been better as an independent game, or by following the original plan of leaving out the first game's characters. They changed it as a plan to make money off of their popularity, so it ruinned it a bit. Some of the original concept designers from ToS worked on KoR, but the rest was passed off to new people to butcher the story. Too low a budget and too little led to that. It's almost pointless to use the old characters.

I read some where that they canceled this after confirming it with a scan to proove it. I hope it's not true. Unfortunately though even if it isn't true America probably won't be seeing this game because all the other Tales of remakes never came out in America. Tales of Phantasia, Tales of Eternia, Tales of Rebirth, Tales of Symphonia; they were all remade on different systems but never saw shores.
