i've got this whole session, and it is incredible! i'd love to have been in that place with so many reggae legends. josey wales cracks me up singing "easy" on these sessions. "easy, easy, easy... this one called... 'easy'". love him!
Wicked Josey and Horace Andy. The 80's is the decade of the dancehall, nuff respect Josey, original foundation ghetto youth..Nuff respect to the fallen soldiers of this culture..fr. carl Tower Hill
sorry to keep posting, but the final answer is, it is Heavenless riddim. an early version restricted to the Ujama label. three studio songs exist that use the version you see in the video. Horace Andy used an updated version for his song "Elementary", which has the same lyrics here.
It's called the Rambo Riddim. Dancehall is great because the artist tell you the Riddim during most of the sessions. Horace Andy even tells you the Riddim hey says "Rambo This Sound Rambo" "Me No Know Why This a sound Bad So". The 80's was the best for dancehall.
Man, Horace should've used this version of the riddim for the album version of "Elementary".

No boss - the riddim track is "Elementary".
Rambo meant bad and heavy back then - after John Rambo of First Blood fame. If you didn't see the film you better ask somebody
