absolutely the most rushed to market game ever released by electronic arts (for the psp). it's buggy (and WILL crash)!!! also, they included some of the laziest documentation i've ever seen for a $40 game.

also, they built-in way too many handicaps that swing momentum away from a strong superior team.

despite what i'm saying, it's still a very fun game (but FLAWED).

depends on wat u like in ur game. for regular 5 on 5 games,nba live is better(even though its not that bad on nba 08). for other things like mini games, nba 08 is better. plus whenever you push a button on nba 08 or if u turn off ur psp and continue later, everything loads up right away but on nba live it takes forever. i have both and they're both awesome

i have 08 for PSP, way too much dunks, ratings are way off, there are random rookies with huge ratings. you can't sub during free throws, they finalized the rosters too soon so every new player on a team has the wrong number. also, because the rosters came out too soon, the rookies who had yet to sign contracts, they aren't in the game, like Yi and Conley Jr
