one of the more underrated goals in ranger history. for me, it was one of the most exciting. to have it in new jersey, with the devils winning the presidents trophy that year and all. to walk in there and beat them in their building, to end their season, was incredible.

Richter beat us that year, no question.

This was more disappointing than '94 because the Devils were huge favorites to come out of the East in '97. They ran into the hot goalie. Richter always played well against the Devils.
