@johnnyhanx That is well said. College players are less talented and the college game is all about the coaches and their systems, same in college football. The players are almost interchangeable. The NBA is all about matchups. That is the biggest contribution of coaches in the NBA is knowing how to get the ball in the hands of their best players with the best matchup and dealing with the egos.

In a western conference that was way more dominant that the Eastern Conference, and Jordan or any GREAT player for that matter has never had a team with the worst record in the league. Well, yeah, I know. What I meant was, those who call games for CBS, NBC, or stuff like that aren't expected to show as much emotion as those who are local radio/TV broadcasters. I have heard Chick Hearn's call of this play and can tell you that his emotion is, well, different, his being the Lakers' radio man and all. Hence Stockton, who was supposed to show no bias toward either team, has a more businesslike approach to this play.
