The problem with the public option, a lot of bad employers will cancel their benefits and force millions of Americans on to government health care. This is why lots of big business is totally behind this plan. Wow we can cut our healthcare cost and stick it to the tax payer unless something is put in this bill to hold said employers accountable its going to be a nighmare.

All banks that took bail out money, will have 90 days to pay back the money they took from the tax payers or pay a interest on the money they took that interest rate will be equal to the federal interest rate this interest will be yearly till the debt is paid back in full. The founders were fearful of industrial powers and banks overtaking the country, and THIS is precisely what is wrong with our country and government. This country was not founded on capitalism, as you imply. Capitalism is a form of economics, which is a completely different thing than a form of government, which manages the people and resources in the country/state. Americas core values are Freedom and Equality. These two main principals are protected by a Bill of Rights and a system of government where power is shared between 3 branches of government, so that no single entity has too much power.
Bush brought down the debate into simple, binary thinking that divided people along economic and social schisms by using empty platitudes and taking a page from Joseph Goebbels as a political strategy. The truth is never so simple as black & white, its usually a shade of gray, and this applies especially in politics.
...and the conservatives may call themselves this, but what do they want to conserve? Oil? The environment? Fiscal responsibility? These words liberal or conservative dont mean anything because the we all forgot the meaning of these verbs and how they can apply differently with different mindsets, and how people feel differently on different issues.
That doesnt mean Ill stop voting this way. The Dems have all but sold out their platform, but are nothing compared to the hypocrisy and fascism I see from the GOP. The problem with the public option, a lot of bad employers will cancel their benefits and force millions of Americans on to government health care. This is why lots of big business is totally behind this plan. Wow we can cut our healthcare cost and stick it to the tax payer unless something is put in this bill to hold said employers accountable its going to be a nighmare.

Just drop your insurance if you do not work for the government for sure!. They can't stop your health care needs!! And if the bills get too high then file bankruptcy every 5 years and they will get rid of all of those bills plus a large amount of other bills! That is what I have been doing for almost 28 years. It works! 29 years and running for free health care (almost) there is a cost though, about 2 to 3 grand grand for the lawyer fee, but that will pay for itself easily.....

In this ever increasing global economy, we will not be able to compete if our health care cost is not brought under control. Companies will continue to relocate jobs off shore, or move entirely. The higher our employment cost, the fewer jobs available. We are risking our future to save a private industry that has not been able through the free market to hold cost down or cover all Americans. Our future vs. the health insurance industry profits! The public option is at best a compromise.

I look for the truth, but I have to use a high powered BS filter to find it, as well as choose the right sources of information. Forget ALL cable news channels, or local TV or radio. This country was not founded on capitalism, as you imply. Capitalism is a form of economics, which is a completely different thing than a form of government, which manages the people and resources in the country/state. Americas core values are Freedom and Equality. These two main principals are protected by a Bill of Rights and a system of government where power is shared between 3 branches of government, so that no single entity has too much power.
