  • Such a tune!

  • Trance Music has lost a legend, who had a unique style that will be very hard to replace..R.I.P. Slacker...

  • @greendragonsbane - indeed. I remember this track coming in our clubs here in Budapest and we went crazy.

    You'll be sadly missed Slacker

  • R.I.P. Slacker.. you will be missed :(

  • RIP Shem...., sorely missed. 'Slacker's' finest moment......, never be forgotten ;-(

  • love this tune - was on one of my mixes from 1997 RIP Shem. Thanks for your music

  • I can't believe he is gone. Shem, you have my respect for producing such quality tune as this one. This is really a well produced track. I bought the 12" vinyl in remembrance. We will never forget you Shem! R.I.P.

  • RIP Slacker. I remember this coming out and just going nuts, quality producer and you now belong to the ages...fair play mate, see you on the other side.

  • Sad Face...RIP

  • @TheTyrantanic I concur - very sad face right now. But this tune is the PERFECT cure for sadness - it is SO uplifting - it makes me happy - it makes me grin. This was a PEAK tune when progressive was at it's peak. RIP Shem - know that if progressive house made it's mark on music you were a gigantic part of that. Slacker - synonymous with Sasha and Digweed, back when they really were Gods playing immortal timeless music.

  • RIP top producer, sad loss

  • RIP

  • rip what a producer

  • deadly tune .....

    RIP

  • Schizoid mix was amazing...just terrible news about his passing. An icon of the Dance scene.

  • BEEZ NEEZ

  • What an awesome track, reminds me of good times :)

  • Me too. Remember hearing this mixed with Flaming June. Don't make 'em like this anymore.

  • That vocal still gives me rushes, even 13 years after hearing it for the first time

  • actually, I remember I saw Jon Carter at Bugged Out once. The only tune he played I knew was a loop of 3:04 to 3:46. Gutted, cos I wanted to hear the original. Thanks for that Jon. To all DJs..you gotta play at least one or two things we know.

  • Filthy and beautiful. Love love love it. Love the way it builds and flows....yum.

Many happy memories attached to this.

Although my mate did think it had Lisa Simpson in it.....

  • 1 word awsome , could listen to this all day - very calming yet alot goes on in the tune but it all fits together spot on - 97 produced alot of crackin trance tunes , great memories !

  • ill be putting the original version out on my channel soon folks keep waiting ill deliver

  • shame they dont make crackers like these no more :-( trance has had its peek, lets bring it back!

  • IT'S A CRACKING SOUND, THAT'S IT.

  • its kind of an acid bass more like i think

  • i think this would be a good remix still keeping the bassline n shit from 3.05 sounds deadly i love that bass in the backround goin with the melody

  • Ahhh memories! Wonderful tune, transcends time!

  • great great tune!!..

  • awesome

  • the best version of this is the 'in the crowd' mix, its on ministry of sound the annual 3 1997....fkn miles better than this one.

  • check out my channel for that very version :c)) ...........although not much of a difference .....Ministry Annual Vol 3 97 disc 2 track 14 ...4:41

It's all good .......Keep on trancin!!! :c))

  • where can i find that bro??

  • been listening to this for 10 years.got it on something called a cassette!!!!! anybody remember those??? ( in the mix 1987)

    quality posting.

  • really interesting.., i think its a Rave feeling blended with Ambient style of music..

  • Otherwise known as Progressive House. Well, oldskool Prog house anyway. The newer stuff doesn't sound ravey at all

  • DRRRRRUUUUUUGSSSS!!!!!

  • @brummygaz ......rock 'n' roll... bad-ass vegas whores... late-night booty calls... shiny disco balls!

  • tune.

  • love it, another 1997 cracker, slacker

  • Thanks for the up. Tune.

  • the happy face voice sucks!!!

  • Happy Face!!!!!

  • After hearing this, I do. :D

  • your face....your face.....your face!!!!!!!1

  • This record has sold and is no longer available.

  • do you have a copy of this i can have? i would really love it to play at my gigs!!@RecycledDJ

  • @RecycledDJ .... I have it!

  • toooooooooooooooooooon. happy scared

  • How many times does the tune change from one style to another??!! Most definately one of my desert island disks!!!!

  • One of the most underrated trance tunes ever!

  • Itz not underrated sure itz on Classic Trance Nation ... 4 me theres no better accompishment than that

  • @plymouthbluenose MMMM, I agree. Stunning!

  • This is my favorite version of the track. The other two mixes are good but just not the same as 'In The Mirror' mix. Best part IMO is where the break down is (2:50) and the samples go "happy, scared, angry, angry, angry, angry, JOY! JOY!!" then BAM back into a stomping beat with tight rifts.

  • One of my favourite songs of all time. I love the changes between those beautiful escalating chords in the background and that effect at 4:21. The song seems to clash loads of effects, but works really well

  • @RecycledDJ That's where I start mixing in the next beat, preferably a breatbeat -goes so well over that nasty bit

  • @RecycledDJ got any idea which compilation cd this mix is off?

  • Mate this classic track is on dance nation 4 1997, its on disc 1 pete tong,my favourite 3 tracks are together at the end of the disc, listen to those three last tracks, they are awsome together!!

  • @RecycledDJ First time I've ever listened to this particular version, as you said... the others are good, but this just blows everything away! Awsome!!

  • Absolutely love this track. Hence my YouTube ID!
