Actually.. old rock and modern rock have different sounds, but are still rock. Old rock is like ACDC and that, modern rock, and the type of Rock I like, is stuff like The Living End, 3 Doors Down, Solstate etc.

Music, like technology, changes over time. Rock and other genres also change with music. These days the main difference between old rock and modern rock is the beat, and the vocals, in my opinion.

Waiting for the Silence is the Nothing Lasts Forever of White Noise, easily the best song on the album, but if it was a single, it wouldn't do so well.

I think waiting for the silence, kid and loaded gun should be the singles, i just don't think make the call really sounds like the kind of song you could hear really early in the morning on the radio, but definitely WFTS. Raise the alarm could be good!

Raise The Alarm or Make The Call wouldve been better choices for singles. It pisses me off that they are promoting 'White Noise' as a 'ballsy rock, head-banging' kinda album, but the first two singles are pop songs. The Living End are a better rock band than pop band.

its not "ballsy rock" at all! theres like 2 or 3 heavy rock songs on there, like there is with any other living end album. the guys themselves didnt hype this up to be a heavy album, thats the work of the media. i reckon this is an awesome choice for a single
