haunting in connecticut would've been way scarier in claymation... god i hate cm - so scary! (they did include some of his work in the scene with matt at the hospital when he watches tv.)
omg Im dating the guy who was shaking like he's having a sesure im emabressed now and I told him that it wasn't freaky at all I hope he doesnt see this OH SHIT!! HE;s breaking up with me now!
This is was a great idea :) love it. It was both informant and entertaining to watch. I would love to see more of these. Thank you Indy Mogul :) Keep up the good work.
Well the thing is most of the footage is just him in a single angle. Such a thing gives it a bland feel. At the very least, an angle change is recommended . That's my opinion anyways.
Christians of this website, the judgement day have started already, please I urge you to depart from all form of unchristian conduct lest you be found not worthy to enter the kingdom of God. Please do not label my activity spam, I did not do it for that purpose.
I lived no more than half a mile from the house they shot the film in. I just moved back to a different part of Connecticut, and am leaving for LA at the end of the month. But, it was really cool driving past the house every day when they were shooting. Especially, since I am looking to get into film, have been to one editing school, and am about to enroll in another (Video Symphony) in LA. I basically spend every waking moment editing stuff on AVID. Check it out at CleanSlateEnt.
I liked it. Its interesting to see how directors started. I too play around with stop motion and my first videos on YouTube were stop motion and I'm glad to see another director that does this. My buddy and I are preparing soon to do longer better made stop motion movies. This gives me more hope into the field!
Great video, If you need any help getting your videos or channel exposed, i use a service called thetubeviews . net it has helped 5 of my videos get ranked on the first page
Hmm, don't know if you'll read this far up in the comments list, but I like it. Enough for me to watch this on a regular basis. It could do with less cuts though, the taperoll style cuts we're nice at first but became boring very soon.
after just watching haunting in conneticut, i was thoroughly impressed, and give first film a chance, maybe jazz it up more though, lol, GO INDY MOGUL!!!
ya i give it 6/10 but next time don't show a trailer that every one's seen 100.000.000.000 times that's all i see on tv is that same trailer over and over it wood have be 10/10 if you wood have showed a newer trailer of it :D.........but ya i like it
if we could get exclusive footage, that'd be awesome. but, usually we show the trailer as a thank you to the director for talking with us. It's free promotion for them.
When I first heard of it I thought it was going to be film makers first films, not an interview about the first film... There goes my big break. Hah. I like it though.
i live literally like 15 minutes from the house it is based on, and the movie had very very little to do with the truth. the real story is very scary, so i dont know why they had to hollywood-ize it so much.
Not that I'm complaining about the current state of indy mogul, but the videos are it's sort of about films and the old indy mogul was about film makers and how they may of started of as amateurs or something, so seeing this gives it a balance.
i would have loved to know more about y he wanted to make The Haunting In Connecticut i loved the documenntary i saw it a few years ago. Love the Aussie accent!
I really really like this. It is not only inspiring to see filmakers that have "made it" but hearing how they did is just entertaining in itself.
