So, don't go telling a Kansan there's no global warming going on. I do believe this will affect the prices of our produce this year. No winter moisture, no crops. That plain and simple. You need to ask around and get your facts together through people who can tell you. We have global warming.

As a student of geophysics and meteorology, let me state the status quo on this field, which ALL media fails to present correctly:
Observation tells us the earth is warming. This is FACT
There are many THEORIES which try to explain it. (AGW is the most common one) And then there a MODELS for prognoses which are based on a THEORY.
Some MODELS which are based on AGW predict an "extreme" rate of warming for the next century, which would result in very inhospitable world.
