ppl wonder why exorcisms dont work, maybe if the right god was involved there would be some progress, could even eliminate the chance of possession as a possibility. praise the most high and acknowlege his true identity, if she hadnt satan's rosemary's in her hand and crucifixes of cesare borgia on her walls, this probably wouldnt have been her fate. the catholic church is in alliance with the jews that run this country, the synagogue of satan. wake up ppls. please. wake up.
The Scream she lets out after the six names was one of the most disturbing Screams i ever heard in a movie ever. People where freaking out in the theater i saw this in.
Never believe a demon when it supposedly tells you its name... it is a lying spirit(s).
Playing games with names only draw you into tiring the human spirit and mind. This is what demons want- to tire you. Stick to the authority and blood of Jesus- read the Gospel out loud- talk about Christ's death and victorious resurrection- Demons are always stirred by these holy facts...
This is one of the best movies I've seen in a long time.
Jennifer Carpenter delivered Emily Rose's posession so well that they said in the commentary that she actually freaked the cameraman out when she grimaced at Tom Wilkinson's character (Father Moore) a minute or so before the begining part of this clip. If you can find it on here, you need to watch it. It's awesome. The actors in this movie weren't well known actors, but they're definitely some of the best I've seen in movies recently.
well there was some major differances in that it was based on a girl in germany not america, and she wasent a college student, and her parents were found guilty of manslaughter and served 6 months prison terms.
Also the church denied her exorcism on two seperate occasions.
And there was no official record of her becoming a saint, and she died of malnutrition and dehydration, so like i said, it was losely based on the events.

She also had no visions of being a saint or seeing the virgin mary crap ect ect.
That was all added for effects. Also the actual exorcism is much differant then portrayed here, you do not speak in any way to a possesed persons statements.
can't remember who said it, but one of the actors in the scene actually fear the a real possession had taken place. That was how well the role was done.
