Okay I'm no longer driving in a car. I'll just walk everywhere. And I'm not wearing shoes either. (Since I'll be walking everywhere that MAY be hard). And I'm wearing sunglasses and a hood everywhere. And I'm never going to the doctor so they can't put me under anesthesia and illegally put a chip into me and claim I passed out....oh yeah, and I'm not wearing underwear either.
I've been watching your videos for the past three hours. It's hard to find intelligence in the world today. Your mentioning of 1984 made me smile. More people need to read that novel.
What is that exactly? What I think is total BS is the black box that's now installed standard in all cars, that's just one step away from a guy at a police station watching the data being transmitted from cars, and sending tickets in the mail for anyone who was speeding. There is a feature on most cell phones (at least the ones I've owned) where you can manually disable the GPS chip, but I never bother because I hate setting the time.
The problem with people--I include myself-- is that they talk to see how big the problem is; but they do little to stop it. Someone said that the Patriot Act sucks. To all who like the Patriot Act, I want to say that I understand why you voted for it. But these acts are designed more for controlling the home population then for stopping terrorists. And in the end the people are controlled more than the occasional terrorists.
There have been no terrorist attacks in the US recently. But how many of your homes could have been searched without warrants and without your knowing that someone had been in your house and searched?Maybe no such incidents happened now.But say ten years later, the conditions in the country go bad.Now to maintain order and control the desperate citizens the government may use the Patriot Act to arrest people without warrants and to search their property and monitor them without their knowledge.
The problem is that governments can be as bad--as has happened many times in history!-- as the terrorists they seek to control. The terrorists are a problem, but so are you. Because you are the people who decide the future of governments. And people who want power want it not just over terrorists but primarily over YOU!
Are you familiar with our banking system - fractional reserve banking? You can't argue that it should be government instead of bankers controlling the creation/destruction of money.
I guess it comes down to who it is who is going to own you--the government or the bankers. The ultimate way to ensure that you get what you want is to participate and monitor the people involved with the creation of money. If you don't pay attention to your business then others are going to abuse your trust.
The rather distressing irony is that while I watched your video advertisements at the bottom of this video titled "RFID" and "RFID Suppliers" were being shown.
cont... another one is 'Sat Nav'; Costs a fortune and doesn't allways work anyway. A good map is literally a hundred times cheaper. And then there's the presumption that everyone has access to a PC etc- I do but I know not everyone does and as such they are innevitably discriminated against with job oppertunities. I also get irked with digital language. A 'window' to me is a sheet of glass you look out of. A 'slash' is something a knive does. Im not anti-technology because we can't live cont...
If being concerned with humanities increasing supposed reliance on technology makes me a technophobe, then im a technophobe. Take entertainment for instance, first there was videos, then DVD now Blu-Ray- I mean whats wrong with DVD? What irks me is the stigma that comes with getting lost with certain aspects of technology like youre some sort of neanderthal. Im not a complete cynic- I know technology can do great things- this for instance but society seems to be using it for EVERYTHING.cont...
Growing up with the feeling God is watching kind of gives you really good training on what not to do in private. lol lol Big brother has nothing on God! (I'm sort of not kidding. lol )
The beauty part of the system though is that there is so much tracking data and it is distributed across so many incompatible and disconnected systems, that the kind of tracking you're talking about can only be done after the fact.
Even with London's public CCTV system, there's so much streaming video that they only use it responsively; they don't have enough eyeballs to monitor proactively.
Computers reduce that problem, but they can't deal at all with the incompatible systems.
Most people who commit crimes are idiots. The ones who don't get caught are the ones that don't keep anything that could be tracked on them. Using cash for everything etc.
People have already started live LifeCasts. Or whatever they're called. They strap a camera to their head so you can watch the live stream of their life, live. Everything. Uncensored.
So some people apparently like broadcasting every aspect of their life to whoever wishes to view it. :/
Apparently it's pretty easy now for your neighbor to hack into your computer and watch everything you do. :-O (Hopefully, they're the friendly ones. lol )
