Why didnt she put out albums? maybe because she isnt like todays fame hungry celebrities that all want to be singers, actors, reality stars and so on. I think she knew she wanted to be an actress, and she knew thats what she did best.

@sargoth37 Cinema20a60 is correct, Marni only did Marilyns high notes in Diamonds are a Girls Best Friend. Marilyn didn't put out records because she did't want to, she was an actress, always wanted to be one since she was little, not a singer.

She did sing for people but only when they could see her, people wanted to see Marilyn. They wanted singers like Frank Sinatra and wanted acrtesses like Marilyn Monroe.
