  • Did you do any color correction or contrasting or anything like that?

  • @DopeBoyzImvu Yes I did.

  • kenapa pas ngeshoot ga di coba 30fbs ? dan di edit menjadi 27.5 fps pasti hasilnya kayak video clip beneran

  • Is the Canon 1100D the T3? Or is it an entirely different camera. I'm planning on buying it but there are a bunch of videos that say 1100D and videos that just say T3 and I just want to make sure that they're either the same or they're not.

  • @James10397 1100D is T3. It's just the different name of the camera. :)

  • Cinematic sekali :matabelo

  • Nice work with the video, one question though. Were you using a tripod for any of the shots?

  • @Mr777manbearpig Thanks. No, I didn't use tripod for any of them. Since they were just some clips put together from my family vacation and I didn't bring my tripod with me.

  • great work.... :) love my 1100D but its not hat easy to take good shot with it, therefore i prefer a tripod

  • Beautiful quality :D

  • Which by you is better? ( i'm asking to buy one) :)

  • what did you specifically correct in the color? i want to know , thanks ;)

  • @vwlover94 Contrast, brightness, saturation, and some tone adjustments.

  • hey im about to get a camera to direct my music videos please inbox me i need to know what exact features and everything you did to make you video look like this thanks!!!!!!! :)

  • hey how do you change the focus while recording? i know this must sound dumb but chyeah.. ima noob to my camera haha anyway everytime im taking a video and i try to zoom in/out the focus would just blurred up. :/

  • Does the Rolling Shutter effect obvious on this DSLR?

  • Same camera, my render settings are awful I guess. I can't get that quality.

  • Why did u use 25fps?Isn't 30fps better?

  • on the subject of the Canon EOS 1100D, i know its not relaing to video's but i usually only take pics using Auto mode, but i need to get used to the Manual settings. yesterday i took a pic of an aircraft taxi-ing on runway, in the background it had blue skies and the sun was reflecting off the body of the aircraft, when i got back home the picture was bright and the supposed to be blue background was more or else bright white...i need to learn how to use settings. i'll learn soon enough.

  • @TomAtalon Thank you for the advice, i did NOT have Quicktime installed, with me not being a PC expert i did'nt realise this as i usaually watch all my video's through Windows Media Player, i have Downloaded Quicktime and it now works a treat. Once again thank you for the advice, i appreciate it.

  • Hey mate, great demtration on quality & ovrall great short film, but next time use a tripod, just makes it look that lil' bit better, Keep it up man :)

  • i have just purchased this camera and did a trial video, it saved it in a MOV File, when i used a video editing programme ie: Sony Vegas 9 it would not recognise it..saying there was an error so i changed the file from MOV to WMV yet the video editing programme will still not recognise this..i'm new to this camera..Help or advice please on what im doing wrong. Regards.

  • @Carlsbergx10 Do you have QuickTime installed? QuickTime and its codecs are needed to play and process the video properly. Mine works fine in Sony Vegas and other NLE Programs.

  • Is This Raw Video? PLEASE ANSWER!!!!! I'm Debating On Purchasing This, Or The T2i.. I'm Kinda On A Budget Since I'm New To This, And I'm A Student, So I Don't Have Loads Of Cash.. I'm Just Looking For Great, Professional Quality Video At A Reasonable Price.

  • @itzJeeKew No they're not raw vids. If you can still get one, I'd personally recommend T2i. It has more manual controls compared to this one.

  • @TomAtalon Thanks A Lot, Bro. Much Appreciated On The Quick Response.

  • @TomAtalon Hey, I'm new to cameras and wanted to know what lens you used?

  • @tomatalon what did you use for your present? and how do you use manual focus on the T3? if you dont mind me asking

  • @tomatalon what settings did you use to export your video from premiere? H.264?

  • @gelkasolee Yup, H264.

  • some amazing shots man. im getting the kit with Canon EOS Rebel T3 (1100d) SLR Digital Camera w/ Canon 18-55mm Lens + 2 Extra Lens + Close Up Kit + 2 Batteries and charger + Hdmi Cable + 32gb Sdhc Memory Card + Soft Carrying Cases + Tripod. im gonna start doing alot of photography and filming.

  • How long does the camera shoot video for?

  • hey! just wondering why you chose 25fps over 30? great shots tho!

  • @marissayeahyeah Thanks. 25fps was just my habbit, I usually work with PAL in my country.

  • What editing software did you use?

  • @PortalGLaDOS Adobe Premiere CS5.

  • how are you focusing it? with a certain button or the lens?

  • @MrSlimeball28 LENS, ever heard of manual focus?

  • this is amazing! :) great job. i have a canon t3 and i had some questions on the film feature. can you use autofocus or not? and should i use a tripod or not?

  • @LoveeCarlos Autofocus in movie mode is not recommended, especially when recording. It takes a while to focus in auto, and the sound the camera makes while autofocusing will also be recorded (which is annoying if you're recording w/ sound). Manual focus is the best for me. :D

About tripod, use them if you want a steady shot.

  • @LoveeCarlos I agree with autofocus, using Manual is always the best way to go for video. Always use some kind of stabilizer, either a tripod or a Steadicam or a shoulder rig. I'd say always use a tripod unless theres a very specific time where the shakyness could be used to make your movie better, like in a fight scene of an action movie where theres a lot of fast movement. In that case handheld would be ok, but you should build the Poor Man Steadicam (look it up, it works great!)

  • Hello! This video really convinced me to get a Canon T3. Very beautiful shots:) I read the description and I was wondering if you need to color correct the shots to get them as amazing as yours. I know nothing about color correcting, and I only have a Sony vegas editor. What should I do?

  • @PeytonsProductions Hi There. :)

Simply put, cc is correcting brightness, contrast, hue & saturation (and more for advanced color correcting). Also there is color grading, adjusting tone of the footage to make it looks artistic and interesting, which I did to the footage on 0:24 & 1:15.

I'm unfamiliar with Vegas but AFAIK, Vegas has some nice Color Correcting tools built in. There are many tutorials about color correcting and color grading in Vegas. They'll help you a lot. :)

  • Did you record it all handheld? Or did you use a tripod for some of it?

  • @314marina All handheld, that's why all of them are pretty shaky. :)

  • @TomAtalon No, it's not shaky at all. I really liked the video. Specially the song you put in the background. Did you shoot it at 30fps? Or 25fps?

  • @314marina Thanks. Song credit goes to Dan (user/danosongs) check em out for free amazing royalty free music.

I shot all of the footage at 25 fps.

  • Really nice work!

  • how did you focus on one thing and then focus it on the background or vise versa like the beginning?

  • @linaaanah he adjusted the focus part on the lens

  • @linaaanah

yeah, me too i would love to know that...

  • @mihai0377 It's the power of 'Manual Focus'. :p

  • hello. works the manual focus the same if you 2 or 4 meters away from the camera. i mean makes it u sharp and the background hazy??

  • i mean canon 1100d thanks :)

  • does canon 110d have color selective mode?

  • Ok, thanks. :)

  • Hey! One question, when I take a photo. And I want focus on one thing, how do I do it? Take macro for example... Im soon getting my EOS 1100D!

  • @coltcolan Aw don't worry, you'll find the answer in the manual. :) It's too easy to focus, really. But for a better macro shot I think you'll need more advanced lens.

  • @TomAtalon It would be awesome if you could make a video with your photos. :) Using the Canon EOS 1100D ofc. ;)

  • @coltcolan You cant really do macro with the normal lense - you need 2 get an extra macro lense to achieve very good macro photos.

Focusing is quite simple though - you will just get it in no time I promise.

  • @TheHammEEEr Ok, thanks!

  • Hey i was wondering what is the max length video you can take with the t3?

  • @EAbrego12 There is no set time where it will just cut off. It depends on the capacity of your memory card.

  • in the begening of the video where its focused on the pland then fucuses on the street lights how did u get it to do that ?? is it thee software or did u have yo do it on the camera??? and if u did let me know how, thanx :)

  • @esepelon903 Simply switch the autofocus (AF) button on the lens to manual focus (MF) and play around with the outer rim on the front part of the lens to adjust the focus. :)

  • Like!

  • i bough it at best buy a month ago for 560

  • What lense was used?

  • @puppyluv121 18-55mm IS kit that came with the camera.

  • @TomAtalon Do you have any good recomendations for lenses for this camera?

  • How long can you record for? And what editing software did you use?

  • @EAbrego12 it really depends on the memory card, but DSLR is not recommended to record long vid (such as 15 mins interview nonstop, etc) for it may get overheated. The editing software was Adobe Premiere CS5.

  • This camera is gorgeous. Im planning to get it for Christmas, worth it?

  • @kawaiicreations99 For DSLR videomaking beginners and normal photographic use, yes.

But for more advanced controls and professional use at the close price range, I'd personally recommend 60D or 550D/T2i (if you can still get one-many stores don't sell 550D/T2i anymore).

  • This is the orginal lence? It's the one who follows with the camera when you buy it? :) Need answer :)

  • @NiklasSkevik9876 Yes it is. :)

  • is this camera good as in close up? im thinking of getting it to make make up videos and such. will it focus well and be sharp enough on a close up in a video. what about macro pics, do those come out good? thanks!

  • @soraiasoaresluz Hi there, the focus is mainly affected by the lens you're using. For example, lenses with smaller "f" number would make the focused area sharp and the out of focus backround really blurry.

  • would you recommend this camera ?

  • 0:30 - 0:40 beautiful shot, very creative. The whole vid was amazing, that part just stood out to me(:

  • Could you do a review of this camera ?

  • can you change form 30fps to 25 and 24fps or is it only 30??

  • is adobe premier CS5 expensive? and how do you manual focus?

  • @liveloverlive its about $800

  • yeah this is very beasty maybe we caxn work on some editing tips when i get my t2i next week

  • What lense did you use?

  • @CrazieFunnieMe It's in the description of the video. :)

  • what program did u use to edit this

  • @TRUVISIONMEDIA424 Adobe Premiere CS5

  • GOSH...I really wanted this camera..wish I had it:/

  • NICE MOVIE............

  • shot di 01:30 asik, coba pake tripod..

  • how do u manual focus?
