I think that, even while different parents emphasized different things this video did a good job of presenting crime as due to multiple factors, including personality, genetics, environment, opportunity, poverty, parents, race (it's not PC but it's a fact that historically, perps, regardless of race, are persecuted more harshly when the vic is white, not b/c they are white, per se, but b/c whites tend to have more socioeconomic capital than blacks.
