im were 3,800 depends on how much work you need.. i didnt have an overbite..just crowdness and something else..so yea..oh and it depends on the orthodontics because they're all different...but my mom payed with insurance so good luck.

hey um im 11 i got my braces 3 days ago they hurt SOOOOOO BAD. but when do they stop hurting?

i know when it might take about 5 days untill they stop hurting cuz i got some i got them like on july something but yeah so thats how long oh and when they have to change the rubber band thing on the braces it will hurt again like the other time cuz i got mine change from the rubber band thing and it hurts but im used to it cuz the first time and also when they take off braces its going to hurt cuz they just yank them off then scrape the glue off like if it was someone scratching a board bye!!!

Good luck; it depends on the person. But usually about two - three days or so. Hang in there, before long you wont even know they are there...

I'm 13, and still in school. (Had the braces at the age of 12). People sometimes make fun of me saying, "Braceface!" and all that rubish, but I just reply, "Yeah, well I'll have nicer teeth than you. And, I wasn't born with it, and I'll have them off soon," that shuts them up. Oh, I'm so happy to be having them off soon!

Powerchains are amazing! My gaps closed just over night. I woke up in the morning, and nearly fainted when I saw that the gaps had closed up. You're teeth are looking much better, they are looking very nice. Mine's looking great now, just off around ... December. I don't mind having them really, they don't hurt me at all, I sometimes forget I got them on. But ... they kill later in the day when you have them tightened, but goes after a week. Good luck!

It is actually burgundy, I actually just changed pink today (May 6). My goal is to try all the colors regardless of what they are.

You can use wax to cover up hooks or appliances (braces etc) that produces pain. Or even chewing gum no sugar in emergency cases lol.

The best elastic ligature for me is the gray metalic colour dunno why but often is the most really elastic at least with GAC products.

Will he put an implant on the premolar section?

I'd be interesting If u can put a pic with your last lateral Rx, panoramic also and a pic of your current profile smiling that would be the most useful now, to check tips, torques..

i had those so much and they hurt but its all worth it in the long run...belive me i know. i just got my braces off yesterday! but those retainers suck, i have such a terrible lisp now!

ugh but they keep my teeth straight so thats all that matters :^)

a powerchain is what you see across my top arch. It helps to close the gaps between the teeth.

im going to the dentist tomorrow so they can take x rays for my teeth.the dentist told me that the braces could cost from $800 to$1200 it depends on which braces u need so probably i will get my braces in a week.probably i want braces

I've had mine for exactly a month tomorrow.

& it's the worst part to me of braces.

Food gets stuck so bad and my teeth are really sore.I've been using wax constantly though.

I've heard that the expander is not so fun. Inot much you can do until you get used to it; you're doing well with wax, hang in there.

ooh i had the power chain things on my bottom and top ones but at different times, i hated those because they hurt a lot when they put them on :P

i had to get my wisdom teeth out too before they could finish...i'll have my braces for two years in july x-x my bottom lip, the inside is really bad lol

:-(; yes I was in pain for 4 days...No space closure as yet though. You should use wax to stop that rubbing on the lower braces.

sounds like british and i just cant really make it out but yeah i am lucky because for a while back then i didnt brush my teeth at all and they just got soo bad but i am missing no teeth at all, i doubt i will have to loose any because they are all good, my four cavitys are fillable so no teeth pulling, but i am very lucky, now i brush twice a day but i get my braces in one month, i took my molds already

I had a bridge across the molar and the canine as Ilost the two pre-molars earlier, because I did not get braces earlier on. I remember one pre-molar was actually inside my arch :-(. It ended up decaying and had to be removed. I had to remove the bridge when I got braces last Feb.
