  • Will it play CD-R's?

  • @Kbeck94 yes.

  • just got it xD

  • just go it xD

  • Is there no crossfading

  • This thing is HORRIBLE. It has to buffer the CD while mixing, which causes the music to pause and makes the room silent. It's only good if you don't plan on mixing at all.

  • @DJh0bo That's rubbish, never experienced this problem with the unit...

  • can wi Scratch

  • Selling one of these £130 in the UK suffolk message if interested!

  • More like Genocide :D

  • Can it play MP3's..?

  • @poppalarge68 Its a cdj so no.

  • @poodlelord Thanks.

  • can you plug it into a computer?

  • How much do u think this is worth 2nd hand???

  • do this accept usb?

  • Hey i have the same DJ, one question, how can i make my loop sound better I count the beats but still dont get a good loop, any help.

  • There ok but with no real scratch time not the best. if you buy the 6000 version or a tweakilizer could get you buy but better options if you already got a mixer. I use this as my mixer hooked up with a Numark cdm-88. wish i could get some pioneers thou.

  • yes i just put 1 of these on layaway baby

  • can i hook it to my laptop

  • @civalairpatrol1 seems not

  • @civalairpatrol1 no you can't

  • Can I hook up my laptop to this

  • hey do you have any tutorials on gemini cdm-3610?

  • can you scratch with it?

  • @jgomes1992 I Have These Mixers And Too Me It Doesn't Seem To Allow You To Scratch.

  • can someone give me some information about the gemini cdm 3200, theres absolutely nothing on youtube about it.

  • @ARave94 it's good :)

  • cant u scratch with it

  • hii,, i have a cdm-3600 i wanna somthing mush beteer what you can sayed to me to buy? (sorry my english) i wanna somthing can works full with softwear

  • do this accept mp3?

  • I'm a dubstep producer and want to dj my stuff live instead of composing tracks from my pc using samples i would rather mix my songs, i could do this with my laptop but it would be easier and look a bit more ineresting

  • I bought this almost as soon as it came out and it was a piece o' shit.

There is no fader switch for the Cue/PGM just a flip switch which means you can only listen to one channel at a time in the headphones and to make matters worse the music playing in the headphones and live from the mixer wasn't in sync. The pitch controls jump from 0 to -/+ 7 instead of going to 0.1 etc. The master volume didn't work and you couldn't instantly cue, there was time needed to seek the track

    NOT RECOMMENDED!!!

  • hi ca any 1 tell me if you HAVE got to hook up the gemini 3610 to a lap top

  • @rozzer170 no you don't but if you want to, what you have to do is get a midi box and usb cable.

  • i got it and returned it...the pitch control on these are awful and just dont pick up

  • not 100% sure if it playes mp3 cause i hadnt got it dat long before it i started having problems with it! i tink da cdm3610 0r the cdm6000 does but i wudnt buy the 3600,i sold mine but as i said before its not very relaible as far as im concerned.

  • does it play mp3s because i am thinking of getting one to start to djing

  • Awesome video man, really helpful.

  • This may be a really dumb question, but can you scratch with it?

  • @xlightknightx no you can't scratch with it

  • @insanity1211ger I've seen some people do it before with a cd player, not quite the same but in essense you can

  • you cant scratch on da cdm3600,to be honest its really only for starting off your dj-ing but with what i experienced with it i wud not go back to it. no dis-repect to gemini but i paid alot of money for it and wasnt worth it. get pioneer or denon cause their good quality and reliable,

  • @MrLittleirishdude Yeah but you have to sell your whole house to afford a pioneer set.

  • This was my first dj equipment ever. And now that i look at it, its complete bullshit. The seamless looping is ok but it still cant exit out of the loop correctly, it cannot scratch or do any effects, and the only pro to this is the cue selecting, and the mixer on it.

  • does it play cd-r

  • can you scratch on the cdm-3600 jog pads

  • i have the cdm3600 and it has given me some problems while dj-ing in my local disco bar! at times it doesnt read the disc and the fader start delay sometimes doesnt always work right??? maybe i got a damaged model but i switched to pioneer.

  • would you reccomend the gemini cdmp 6000 from what you have expirienced with the cdm 3600?

  • so you cant scratch with these?

  • His video's are extremely detailed & easy to follow but sometimes I just think he talks waaaaaaaaaaaaay too much.

  • In the video it does say you can add an external source, like a turntable or another cd-player. Could you use an Ipod as an external sourse if you had the appropriate jacks to connect it?

    *PLEASE RESPOND*

  • @Charara94 check out the cdmp-6000 for that function.

  • which 1 is better this or the iDj2

  • Is Ncie

    i buy one these days

  • can u connect this to your computer to play music that is in your computer instead of having to burn CDs to play the music in the mixer?

    PLEASE ANSWER!!

  • yes you can. you just need software and a computer as well as some cables

  • three rca cables ( one with a headphone jack and virtual dj

    1. take ur y rca cable the 2male 1 female and insert them into ur input located the back

    2. insert ur 2male with headphonejack and insert into female rca cable and insert headphone jack into laptop

  • @erikelduro yes

  • Definitely is not the best mixer but if youre a beginner could be a good equipment for start.

It's very basic and the loop sucks but you can get it for a low price...

    =)

  • wow...way better than Ehow

  • peace of shit...Forget it!!!

  • @ZBmuzik its gud 4 beginners

    bt not 4 pros

  • it does look pretty nifty, but will stick with 3600

for now, dont have enough doe to get cdm, if i make some cash playing gigs im defiantly gonna hit it up and contemplate on it !!! thanks

  • i just want to make sure its not shit equipment if im going to buy something for 200

  • I'm guessing most of the guys watching this video are complete begginers on Djing, my advice to you: "Save some more money, buy sinlge cd or mp3 players and a separate 2 channel mixer" (I started djing with the cdm 3600 and it's really basic... and i mean BASIC in the wrong way)

  • can i control base trebble and middle on this ???

  • will this hook up to my computer speakers? and if so how? i also want to connect it to vdj

  • Guys, im planning to buy this for christmas, what are your personal experiencies and i have been mixing on parties with my laptop and virtual dj but i would like to experience with cd players do you really recomend it ? merry christmas from mexico ;)

  • Hey i just got this yesterday night (This is my first dj system ever) and i want to know how i can get the left track playing, and the right track playing also? Cuz i can only switch it to channel 1 or 2. I want both to play at the same time.. I am using headphones also, that might be the case. BUT PLEASE REPLY AND HELP

  • @phill55544

Put the fader half way to the other side one side will be louder than the other i guess but thats all i can think of on how you can listen to both at the same time, why would you want too tho?

  • Good dj's combine tracks together, it's fundamental! Just ordered myself one as I'm craving decks. Started on CDJ 600's so this is gonna be a big step down but just need something to practise before gigs on a CDJ 1000!

  • I recently came in the mail. I've been using it for about a week now and it's amazing (in fact, I just stopped playing about 10 minutes ago.) It's really simple piece of equipment, but it gets the job done wonderfully! ^^

  • Don't buy it worst junk ever made.I used one last week it was a joke!

  • @1CBRDUDE What would you recomend in a simarlar price bracket then?

  • Now THIS is good for beginner DJs!

  • nice video. My mom just ordered this for me for christmas. Can't wait to try it out! ^^

  • same!!

  • You will love it raigon1! I've been using mine daily for 7 months now. Hasn't let me down yet. :)

  • can i hook this up to a laptop?...like to use virtual dj with it?

  • would this be good to start of with ... ive neva dun any mixin myself nd these r cheap compared 2 everything else

  • This is a really good starter mixer (: But it takes practise, it wont come the first day you touch it. It takes time to be a good DJ alot of TIME!

  • can i plug my laptop on this mixer with an behriner usb audio interface uca-222?? and mix with the gemini?

  • which one is better, the A.A CK 1000 or this one? I know that the CK 1000 costs more but how about the quality and the feeling?

  • can you compare it with hercules control steel?

  • ........the pitch adjustment on this peice goesin intervals of .1% instead of the standard .05% (or .005%, cant recall), and it sometimes even jumps by .2%, which is very very annoying, and makes it hard to keep them running together nicely and pretty much impossible to keep it together without constant nursing (more then there should be)

if you have the money, get real cdjs, because this just doesnt even compare.

once again, i would only recommend this on a tight budget with no options. gd luck

  • alright everybody whos interested!!

i own this peice right here and id say its good if youre on a tight budget and want to learn to mix. it grasps the concept well enough.

the jog wheel isnt sensitive enough, and its hard to match the tracks a lot of the time, either speeds up too quick or not enough, just an overall etchy feeling to the jog wheel..... (continued above)

  • is this only for cd?? can i plug my labtop or ipod?

  • i just want to ask if it has any effects like flanger etc...plzz answer....

  • can this unit connect to a computer?

  • looks awesome, i wish this had a sd card reader for each side

  • does any1 know can u scratch on this piece of equipment

  • no. unfortunately, you cant scratch with this.

  • Can i use to this console PC speakers??answer pls!Thank u!

  • Oh man this guy is an angel for everyone that wants to start djing, like me.I actually seen this piece of gear in a dj store, and is pretty much the must have if you want to start djing,im gonna get it myself.Sounds absolutely great by the way,it really does.

  • would this be a good starter disc turntable for house music?

  • Well... it would be but within months it'll be below your level... Check out the MK2 console from Hercules as an alternative...

  • "making SHUAh" jajaj, lol his ascent

  • Can this work with virtual dj and play MP3 files from a computer not from a CD?

  • I would like to know the same

  • hi, are you going to a video on the cdmp-6000?

  • at the end when he says about changing sides for the headphones , Can you switch to say the right hand side and hear the track through the HEADPHONES but it doesnt come through the PA so you can mix it with the song in the PA at that moment ?

  • Can you add an external mixer to this?

Can you buy something to link it to your computer to record, if yes, what?

Does it have functions like looping?

    Thnx in advance

  • Sweet.... great overview, cool lookin machine. Gotta try one of them out sometime.

  • Does this have effects like filter, chorus, phaser?

  • Im getting this too soon, im a "bedroom dj", so i guess this is a good selection to me.

  • yeah same here m8

  • hey Jonathan, i only got one question, how can i record my bedroom practice mixes on the 3600 to my pc?

  • buy a iKEY recorder ; )

  • its so funny how u say its ideal for a bedroom dj and mine in right next my bed ;]!!!!

  • its just a regular plain amp, srry for nt asnwering early i was busy, but ya, just any amp would work, also, u can choose between an amp or some speakers, which wouldnt really make a diff i think since the cheapest amp n spkear u can get are gonna be $100.

  • hey, i really need some help

i got a gemini 3600 for last christmas. it worked fine for about a month, then the right deck started playing up. the music would play for a couple of seconds and then go scrackly. the left deck then followed. i sent it back and after about 5 weeks i recieved a new one. and the left deck is haveing the exact same problem. i dont understand, am i just rediculously unlucky or am i doing something wrong. i would realy appreciate some advise,

    cheers

  • can u plug this to the laptop?

  • can u scratch?

  • no you cant scratch :(

  • hey, i was wondering if you can connect a computer to this to get the music from instead of using CDs??

  • theres no computer input :(

  • is there a console similar to this one that i can hook up to a computer to use the music off of there? i really do not want to buy one of the digital dj things. i want a cdj. but i want to be able to learn though the computer and then get off of it. any body have any suggestions?

  • can you hook this up to a computer to use the music off of there?

  • Yes, but via the line in.

Meaning, no USB port or anything like that.

You would just run a mini to aux.

  • Getting this for my bday on wed. !!!

  • Hi Folks. Everyone know that this player has delay when playing. You can overcome this with a workaroung. When you find the beginning of the first beat to mix (say elapsed time at 0:2:23) move the position further by 18 sectors futher (for audio cds 1 sec = 74 sectors) and queue the song there (at 0:2:41). Now you will not feel any delays when starting mix. Enjoy ...

  • there is now way to put a scratching system up to this?
