  • there is no way I can pass that on my 600R sportbike ... do they ask to do this on a sportbike?!!!

  • that's easy you need to try the British bike test

  • First of all MORONS, he's om a dual sport there like 200lbs lighter than a real bike, fucking Idiots. He made two circles and you say he's skillful, you sorry bunch of gueers must only ride COCKS, a bunch of county assholes, ride that bitch in a busy city, than you see his skills, fucking retards.

  • How did u keep ur balance so well?

  • I can't wait til next year when I go in to get mine

  • XR650L BABY

  • Really good job! I fell at my first time so sad.

  • I'm extremely impressed by the fact that it seems as though you're looking at the slalom markers instead of whats in front of you. But maybe its the enduro bc if i tried that with the cruiser I learned on i would of exited the lines severely

  • That's BS they put cones up for my test and my muffler knocked one down and I got DQ'ed, such BS

  • Ask the examiner what my dad did when he had to take this:

"Alright, am I suppose to be concentrating on the lines below me or what is in front of me?"

  • i can barley understand that instructor wtf ;p;

  • this test is not as easy when u r riding a sportbike, so if u can use someone else's bike (cruisers, dual .. etc ) u'll knock out this test in 5 mints like this dude. Great Job BTW and ride safe!!

  • damn i got a long way to go

  • nj driving test is easier

  • @gixxerd66 it clearly says california

  • really good bro ummm what state do u live in because I live in Oklahoma and I just wanna know if most test r the same

  • BEAST

  • damn that shit looked hard

  • Man, the driving test is eeeaasyy in USA. In Sweden we have to do one slow speed manouver, one fast speed manouver, a braking test at 70 kph and 90 kph and lastly a trip in traffic for at least 25 minutes. The slow speed manouver is the hardest. It's similar to the one in this vid, but narrower and you cant go faster than walking speed.

  • What's the distance for the weaving test.

And the radius for the circle?

My siblings and I are going to be taking the test soon but we already have our bikes and a decent amount of space to practice. For all of us failure is not an option so we're looking to over-practice it and nail it the first time.

Please respond soon, we're in a real hurry!

  • I just passed the test today!!! YAHOO!!! I rented an automatic scooter and it was much easier to turn than a motorcycle. A little tip for you guys.

  • i want to take the test..but i need a lighter bike..cause i have a boulevard s40..and its freakin heavy...

  • @xxxtracerxxx2007 Best of luck, bud:-)

  • @xxxtracerxxx2007

There are places that let you rent out light automatic scooters. Some of these businesses specialize for this only.

  • GUYS GO BORROW A SKOOTER AND TAKE THE TEST WITH THAT, ULL PASS 99%

  • Do you think they would let me use a klx110 for the test

  • I can't imagine taking this test on my 600. I'm still new to riding but man, even in first with clutch control it feels like it goes fater than that.

  • I'm very confused so like u have to own your own motorcycle? For me I don't have one so I have o buy one to take the test? What if I get stopped by a cop on my way to dmv for not having a license

  • @sammylife12 That's why you get a permit.

  • Good job on your video I liked it very much!

  • Good job on your video I liked it very much!

  • this guy can go out and ride any bike now?

  • I passed mine today :)

  • @MorphineCityKing

Do they ask for registration on the bike?

  • @huhster783

"Do they ask for registration on the bike?"

They do ask for registration, just to verify the plate number and then they just give it back to you

  • I love how the camera man stops and watches the girl with the white shorts walk from her car

  • does the california dmv provide a bike for the test ??

  • @patriotofcali

    No, they dont.

  • Never try taking a bike licence here in the UK. It's a fucking Moneymaker, you gotta be a psychic all position knowing caffeine addict to pass. Or practice at least 1 or 2 years on road riding with NO bad habits.

    FUck this country (GB)

  • If thats the test in America then you should try ours.

That guy would have failed over here for so many reasons.

  • beep beep

  • really who rides a dirtbike as a street bike i could pass this so easy im so good at riding dirtbikes

  • lmao, American driver's licenses are so easy!

  • that looks so hard

  • do u drive on road on the test too? they keep changing the english one

  • sweet

  • I'm so glad I never had to do this. MSF test was much more realistic. Brake checks, cornering and lane change at speed, etc. How often do you have to navigate a slalom at <10mph without being able to put your foot down? DMV is such a bunch of morons. These are good skills to have, but you can save a screw-up on any of these maneuvers by putting your foot down in a pinch. Why are they testing riders on this BS instead of real road / traffic skills?

Kudos for passing either way. :]

  • @outerspaceonline obviously u dont do the test to get experience in driving, that u go get on your own

  • @outerspaceonline Dude these skills are absolutely essential if you want to consider yourself a halfway capable rider.

I do agree though that the total skill set you need goes above and beyond what's tested here though. Even the MSF test is pretty fucking easy.

  • Lol @ checking out the hot piece of ass at 3:12. "Hey motorcycle's over here" lmao.

  • Why did they take it so easy on you, my test was different and it took longer.

  • that is seriously so much more easier compared to where I'm frm!

  • This is Childsplay Compared to the norwegian driving licence. Our test last for about 120min, and then you have to go on a trip in traffic with the sensor bitchriding.

  • LETS HEAR IT FOR KLX 250'S!!!!

  • Anyone know if you pass the theory test etc for a car with 2 years driving. Will I need to do that again for a bike? Living in the UK

    Thanks in advance

  • hmmh this is alot like the UK bike test but they added some extra things

  • is that all? here where I live, we got 1h15min test b4 we get license.: 5 skill test + 45 min road test.........damn u guys get it easy

  • Comment removed

  • US licence test is gay... It's clear you don't know how to ride, so you're not safe ! i can't believe it's so easy... just come to France, not the same... not to talk about Japan.

  • @GrosNoob06 I don't even know the point of this shit. I think there should just be an age limit. It's not like these test teach you anything

  • wtf is that guy saying, id get so pissed, id b like " dude speak English and ill pass this thing."

  • That looks like... a pain in the ass

  • Nice Job dude!

  • how many times did u take this test before passing

  • my test is tomorrow at 10AM... im stinkin nervous. lol. my cousin just got his. he siad it was pretty rough

  • i failed my road test... today... im from new york she failed me on not the circles i aced that with the 250 ninja i was on but because the bike cut off at the stop sign i was in gear 2 instead of gear 1.. its an automatic fail..... sooo mad... by bike is collecting dust in my garage.. hurts i cant touch it :(

  • @rich80baby when can you resit the test (im from Australia)

  • try that test with a sport bike then see how u do...

  • Short sleeved shirt, short pants, no gloves, no over the ankle protection. Any one of those things missing will disallow you from taking the class here in FL.

We can't vote, but we ride just fine lol.

  • Are all driving tests standardized or do they very from state to state?

  • @EdgeCrusnik state to state. Ive got a gsxr 1000. Dont take the test on that kind of bike. It dont turn at slow speeds worth a dang

  • @EdgeCrusnik Vary from state to state. The test here in Missouri is about a joke. Very easy, nothing like the one in the video.

  • hey guys i was wondering if u can get a motorcycle permit in arizona if u are above 18?can i or only motorcycle licence??

  • I got my license without taking the DMV riding test =0d

  • how'd u do that?

  • Took the MSF course.

  • wtf??! how the hell can you administer a proper test when there is traffic around you? head to a state police headquarters, they usually have an entire section dedicated for this test

  • is it true a motorcycle emits EMF that causes cancer??????

  • you can get cancer from practically anything

  • @funkeekidd

yeah even pants give you cancer these days, did you know that 99% of people diagnosed with cancer in 2009 were wairing pants at some point in the previous year.... that proves it

  • is it true you can take the motorcycle test on a moped?

  • Yes

  • Depends on the state. Do some research. Also, a moped is 50cc or less. Some states only require you to have a diver's license. If it's more than 50cc, then it's a scooter and you need to take an endorsement test like this guy.

  • @funkeekidd it varies from state to state, so you'd have to check with your own state. but generally yes, you an take a motorcycle test on the obstacle course with a 50cc scooter

  • @funkeekidd yes its true. ive seen it

  • Haha, Congrats! I completed my training at an MSF course.

  • The driving test in California is tricky, you really need a certain type of bike to pass it. They need to come up with something that is easier.

  • Is that all you had to do to pass your test?

You wana see what we have to do to pass our bike test lol

I know it was a long time ago but congrats :)

  • C'mon! Just by watching the first round you can tell if he can ride or not... three times? You're killing me!

  • LOL notice the guy on the bike went for his rear brake pedal when the instructor asked for the gear selector.. FAIL right there... haha kidding

  • in blair nebraska the dmv test is easy they hav you wear a helmet with a headset and they follow you on the main streets and tell you which way to go

  • lol "derr hes doin the impossible"

  • shit im shaking just watchin you take that test, my test is in 14 days.

  • dude so how was ur test?

  • very very VERY easy. if you can ride a bike then u can pass the test. just be able to shift to second gear and back down. u wont go above 20mph

  • @kurdishmob good luck, never ridden a motorcycle before so trying to and have to get a license. might take msf course, though.

  • @kurdishmob

    mine is today lol

  • @kurdishmob stupid ass pussy!!

    man the fuck up!!!

  • @kurdishmob Did you pass?

  • @gkkhan . Yea it was very easy. if you can ride a bike and can change gears easly then this test should be no problem. besides you dont just fail by going outside the lines, ull lose points, of which u have a lot to spare.

  • @kurdishmob Thanks for the advice and for replying back.

  • this test makes mi nervous and i want to take it soon.

  • @kurdishmob so did you take it 2 years ago? Did you pass? I got my license without a DMV test lol

  • @VIDEOZAL yea i passed. it was really easy. nothing to worry about, itll come natural, as long as you know how to ride a bike.

  • @kurdishmob Nice. I got my license few days ago now looking for my 1st bike. What did you buy as your first bike and did you get in any accidents since then? ;)

  • seriously that looks like a pain in the butt test .. hahaha

  • Congradulations Guy on Bike !!!!!

  • i live in texas you have to bring your motocrycle and a car

  • they should deduct points for wearing shorts and tennis shoes, not to mention no riding gear whatsoever except the helmet.

  • it's a fucking test!

  • No.

  • props for takin your test on the xrl

never see a big ds bike used for exams :)

  • ds bikes are the best and easiest bikes to pass the tests.light, agile, and smooth. crotchrockets must be a nightmare! im takingmy drz-400 in a couple weeks!

  • that's gotta be a California thing... I never heard of no circle drive test.... more like a ROAD test with him following or something... but not "go down there and back without falling"

  • This is how the motorcycle test is performed in EVERY state. There is no "riding/following."

  • In B.C., Canada, after the written, test for the motorcycle, you must do one of these tests to have the restrictions removed (ie. freeway, etc), for the final test, an examiner follows you like you described for an hour and tells you what to do and judges you.

  • Same thing in California. One you take the written you can drive and then you take the test here to remove restrictions (freeway, carry pax, driving at night). Many riders never take the test.

  • I used to think this is impossible and did MSF classes to avoid this. Now I have ridden a similar small dual sport bike daily, out of curiosity, I went to the DMV and rode it out. and I passed, basically look way ahead where you are going.

I can say that the MSF is definitely worth it. I think most experienced dirt rider can pass this test but will be ill prepared for the road.

  • Dude! Is that it!!!! IN the UK its gonna cost me about £100 and i have to take a theory test and do a days training prep, and the do teh test fully on teh road!!!

geez, i wish it was that simple here... :(

  • sucks for you

  • yeah kinda :(

  • I'm so glad I got my endorsement years ago and kept it, even through 4 states and even when I didn't have a bike.

It's way easier than going through all the red tape!

IF you have the M endorsement, just pay the little bit extra to keep it.

  • ya i got my permit for m1 when i turned 15 and a 1/2 i wish i would of kept my 250 to do the test beacuse now i am going to do it prob on a 600 a little more dif beacuse of the rpm but i had to sell before i turned 16 beacuse of mom freakin o well 18 in like 50 days oww yaaaaaa

  • What's the smallest bike you can use for the m1 test? Does a 125cc scooter qualify?

  • no a 125cc is an m2 not m1. it has to be 150cc and above.

  • Nope, try again. 125cc is M1, hell even a 49cc scooter is M1 in California. Lots of people use small scooters to get their M1 easily in CA.

The difference is complicated, but basically if it can go over 30mph and/or has pedals (or is capable of human propulsion), it is considered a moped/motorized bicycle and requires only an M2 license.

  • do u borrow one of the dmv's bikes ?

  • no, you got to provide your own. dude its like going to the dmv and saying o im here to take the driving test and i dont have the car. can i borrow urs? no...jsut no.

  • lol o sorry casue i always see those little buggys driving around with the "student driver" taxi sign on top...and plus that bike...well i wouldnt ride it

  • lol haha yea those are i THINK are like behind the wheel training. i ono depends on where u live

  • "Let's go buy a bike"

  • hey isnt that the glendale dmv.??

im going next week to get my m1 too..

    good job bro..

  • I have a question, how do i get my bike to the DMV to take the test if i dont have my license? I dont know anyone that can legally drive my bike for me either.

  • you get your permit first by passing the written test. after, you're supposed to ride for 20 days with someone else on a bike riding next to you but they don't really check for that.

  • You can't even take the road test without a permit before.

  • does the way this motor cycle test goes is it only in California

  • MSF Program is the way to go. makes u a better rider

  • I just took the MSF basic rider course, learned a lot and after completion dmv waives this test!

  • how long does it take complete the course?

  • 3 days, 1st day is in class snore fest! second day your on the bikes, 3rd day you do more drills and finally take a test similar to this one above but in my opinion not as hard

  • damn im so scared i have mine test this thursday im gonna shit bricks

  • see if you can borrow a ninja 250. They are soooooo light its easy. Its only going to be hard if you have a heavy bike...lets say over 600 pounds. Another thing...practice the course by yourself...its the same everywhere so you can set it up just like its going to be!!!!!!!!!

  • congrats, I've got my test July 17th

  • Man.. I am about to take my test in three weeks. It has been awhile since I took one. I hope it's the same in San Diego.

    That's pretty good dude. Congratulations.
