They've messed up Yuda really bad in the anime. In the manga after Rei delivers the final blow, Yuda declares his love for Mamiya saying that he can't kill something that he finds beautiful from the bottom of his heart, along with Rei's style. That moment is missing in the anime.

This sucks. :-/ . Yuda's style was strong, it was fast, it was long ranged and could hardly be copied. This style no matter what is the best of nanto seiken and it should be looked at. If Yuda's ego wasn't so much he couldve easily raise a finger at Rei and slice him. Such strong fictional style ruined my emotions and ego IMO. Rei's style was predictable and therefore got Raoh to stick a finger up Rei's butt and finish him. So much flaw.

Just wondering guys..have u noticed how the Animation changes alot? like this ep the drawing looks alot better compared to the previous ones and some of the next few eps. I also noticed how the characters' appearance change freq as well (i.e) kens short hair with a lil puff will turn long and jerry curl like in the next eps then will go back. same with his face. started round in the beginning and then he gets a more longer chin or jaw with bigger muscles and amor. just an observation !!!

Since Yuda is a raving narcissist, he dresses flamboyantly to glorify himself. He obviously has a massive man-crush on Rei, but it's more to do with Rei's fighting style capturing his heart, as Yuda was finally humbled by someone else's elegance.

Raoh pressed a pressure point that gave Rei only 3 days to live and Rei had to ask Toki to extend his life by 1 day to fight Yuda he then later dies in the hut like you said

This episode has shown one thing people do not admit: Shin is stronger than Rei.

Even thought Yuda was cheating, the fact was that Rei barely defeated Yuda while Shin once defeated Kenshiro in one shot without being harmed.

I think Shin and Rei are pretty close in terms of ability. And like you said, Yuda had to cheat in order to gain the upper-hand, before that Rei was owning him easily.

Don't forget that Shin defeated the old Kenshiro, who hadn't learned the ruthlessness needed to survive. But still, I think Shin & Rei are evens.

Thing is, prior to this fight, Rei had already been beeten by Raoh, who punctured his pressure point so that he would slowly bleed to death (the cape throw + finger jab by Raoh). In other words, Rei "is already dead". Whereelse Juda is fighting at full capacity and cheating to gain an advantage. In any case I think Shin is equal to if not better than Juda.

The movie was a snipped short version of the original TV series. It didnt even have Toki in. Nor Yuda,Ryuga, Souther, Etc etc etc. Enough said. If you love your anime, then expect backstory. Even then the end fight with Ken and Raoh at the end of the series was better than the movies.
