Listening to this great man's music it is not hard to imagine how he influenced later composers, especially those working in film music. I am thinking, of course, of the great Dr. Miklos Rozsa, who composed the wonderful music fo "Ben Hur" and "King of Kings" amongst others. Close you eyes a little and Resphigi seems to be there, alive within the music. Thank you for posting this.
This music is so beautiful! Thank you for introducing me to it! I am searching into this man's music. I will listen to his famous Roman Trilogy soon. I am going on holiday to stay with my grandparents until Saturday, so I'll hear from you then!

A nice piece, and very well played (by the way, who is the pianist?)

I loved this so much I ordered the sheet music -- sounds so easy, but quite difficult to play!
Thank you for posting this since I have was not familiar with Respighi's music at all. BEAUTIFUL!
