nah, their spidervalve is sick, although it was designed by bogner or w.e, but yah, if ur into recording ur own shit, try out the line 6 toneport. if you can get ur hands on one, (it was discontinued) but the pod studio, is the same thing pretty much, pod farm software, its really easy to use

i've not played the spidervalve, if its anything like the 100 watt tube peavey vypyr, then its bound to be great. i've been recording my stuff for a while, using reaper audio and Nick Crow's 8505 (a 6505 amp sim) Solo C which is supposed to sound like a soldano, and i've been using a mesa rectifier amp sim I created. and they all sound nearly 100% like the originals

it's a very good guitar, gets a real nice sound out of a marshall amp and very durable. I got mine second hand and I've only needed to touch it up once. the only thing I noticed is that the action can be a little iffy, but I got my bridge tweaked to fix that.

Yeah i finally picked one of these up yesterday. I went in just to check it out, and I couldn't put it down. It's so responsive and has a great tone. I'm using it through a marshall avt20 and it just sings. I threw on some .12s, so I'll have to have the action adjusted, and I adjusted the pickup height.
