The US is printing money right now, which causes the money that is left to be worth less, because there's more of it in the world. We wouldn't need to do this, if more of our money was staying here in the USA. When you buy a real American car, the money stays here, it creates jobs, and it also ensures that company can CONTINUE to create jobs in the future.
As for the negative comparisons of the car's appearance to European cars, this is humorous. Here's the translation: "This $30k Chrysler looks like a cheaper version of a $60k European car. Duh?! As for the banks, well, it's the socialists who put the American taxpayers on the hook for the banks via the FDIC anyway, so I guess we had no choice there--we'd be bailing them out anyway. Still, they should have failed, gone out of business and depositors should have been given what was due them.

Fact: US workers are the most productive in the world. I think it's the reason the banks were bailed out. Don't you? As for whether it should exist or not, that's debatable. There's a good, short piece illustrating how the FDIC has contributed to our current financial mess. It does more than you think. Google "FDIC slaps bank" It's a short piece even a Leftist can get all the way through before getting distracted. That kind of regulation is what created the subprime loan industry in 1993.

That's a stupid argument based on a common logical error; Correlation is NOT causation. For instance, Fact: the USA's GDP is twice as big as Japan's and Germany's combined GDP. All companies that use scarce resources as wastefully and inefficiently as GM and Chrysler do should go bankrupt. It glorifies Detroit industry, not communism. Some would say the Chrysler looks BETTER than the Mercedes. It also performs the same function for half the price. The Ford is still a real American car, the corporate offices are in Detroit and the profits stay here. The profits from the BMW and Toyota both go overseas. They do nothing to ensure American jobs in the future. The money was borrowed to save the business, paid back with interest. The union thing is another story, I agree with you. They're supposed to be beneficial, but they're hurting the industry and as a result, the country. Ford is the most stable US car brand, good for them. Go Detroit!!

To clarify, when you buy a foreign car, a car made by a foreign company, you are sending money directly overseas. The US is printing money right now, which causes the money that is left to be worth less, because there's more of it in the world. We wouldn't need to do this, if more of our money was staying here in the USA. When you buy a real American car, the money stays here, it creates jobs, and it also ensures that company can CONTINUE to create jobs in the future.

He failed the basic English proficiency exam in college numerous times, so he eventually filed a lawsuit against the college to get his degree. Don't earn your way to the top! Sue your way! That means that if you have a business, you have to pay your workers, yourself, and then you pay for the cushy pensions of a bunch of public sector union paper pushers/retirees. No wonder Detroit News reports 29% of the population is out of work and the real number--when you count those who have given up looking for a job--is closer to 50%. This commercial is trying to sell you on an economic rennaissance that is a socialist lie.

@honki3MAN It's a pretty powerful commercial, at least for some of us. I usually hate commercials, but I'm a big fan of Detroit, real American cars, and Eminem, so it caught my attention. A lot of people are apparently very anti- some of these subjects, so they're trolling around too.

@lmaoatyouface Gotta disagree with you. The worthless among us are quite successful at marginalizing themselves eventually, they don't define this country. The BEST among us do.
