He has been my inspire. Ever since Fred Rock. My dream was to work with Muppets. That was one of my motivation to get English. To having English made my life so much richer. I thank and admire him for ever and ever. Now as a mother of 8 years old daughter, she loves Muppets. They will be living in us genelation after and after.

Jim Henson was one of my heroes all my life and such a kind and talented heart. This is one of the best tributes I have ever watched. Beautiful job. I remember he passed away the same day as Sammy Davis Jr. who was also a very talented man. Jim's death left a void that will never be replaced...at least for me. 20 years later and I still cry over his death...now that says something about a person to invoke those kinds of emotions from people he never met.

I feel in many ways I owe my life to Jim Henson for ceating the Muppets, and Sesame Street. Because me being autistic starting from an early age, seeing those shows along with Disney cartoons got me to talk and eventually overcome my disability, back then I had it bad. But now I'm a creative comic artist and storyteller and I hope to inspire people the same way he inspired me.

Jim Henson was simply one of the treasures of the world. He was one of those rare geniuses who produced timeless material of equal appeal to children and adults. His wit could be twisted enough for teenage boys and compassionate enough for grandmothers. Some who die young had given what they had to give. Others, like Henson and, I think, Jim Croce, were tragic losses because so many of us were so eager to see how they would continue to grow and create. "Hey Cinderella" deserves to be a classic.

Gosh Elmo has taken over Seseme Street and now the children are relating to him instead of Big Bird, Ernie or Bert, Kermit, or even Grover.
