My face does wierd things when I use products with sun block. Its like my pores become inflamed and oozing and crusty, mostly around my lips. My face becomes very bumpy feeling as well. But the Ambi cleansing bar works really well for me. My skin went from grey to bright and glowing. Its cheap (2-4 dollars) and lasts for a long time. The fadecream does the job on my scars and blemishes. I just use an oatmeal moisturizer after I cleanse. I think you had a reaction to the sunblock product.
I had that same type of reaction, but not that severe. My skin dried out then peeled, but after that it cleared my skin up. The one thing I I did differently was that I used the foam cleaners @ night and the bar in the morming.
Sorry, it took so long to answer you back.. as for the break out... I made sure to take Benedryl that helped and then i used natural witch hazel on a cotton ball, applied it all over my face. the witch hazel cooled it and made it stop itching. and i waited for it to get better took 5 to 7 days for me.. I will never use that stuff again! Hope this help and hope that you wont have that problem again.
I love your nails and lips...OAN Ive started to use Ambi and just place it on the Dark Spots hoping to see improvement. Ive used it for 3 weeks now 2 a day but things work differently depending on your skin type :)
Thanks for putting this review up. I was going to purchase 3 or 4 of these Ambi products. My skin is so sensitive that I cant use the Pink Grapefruit cleanser by either Clean n'Clear or Nuetragena,.. Cant remember which but,i know it when I see it. I had the same reactions with pink grapefruit stuff.. and yes that is an allergic reaction : ( sorry that happened to you!!!
@sashasbox OMG this just happened to me 2 days ago i was using the pink grapefruit facewash. Im freaking out how did you get rid of it????? PLEASE HELPPPPPPPP
You clearly have sensitive skin, and so do i so what i use is St. Ives naturally clear! its great and i love Ponds dry skin cream mosturizer ! i did a video on it ! :) goodluck
i have allergic rxns just like you (i thought i was the only one!). after i have allergic rxns to facial products, i put cortizone on my skin and the small bumps clear up w/in a week. i use cetaphil now and havent had any problems. it is the most mild product that was recommended to me for my uber sensitive skin.
Hey. Have you tried using natural remedies such as lemon extract and olive oil? Olive oil is supposed to soften and heal irritated skin, while the lemon is supposed to cure any facial discolouration and blemishes. :) Good look on your quest, I really hope you find what you are looking for.
have u tried the one in the tube..the one in the tube only works for me not the bottle...just try the one in the tube for atleast 2weeks you will see a difference
hey can you guys check out my channel and review and rate my videos i am just starting out talking about who i am and doing some small reviews for now thank you !!!!
omg i went thru the same thing around my mouth broke out and i could barely move my face i have dark spots around my mouth and was trying to clear that but ambi products are no good i started using cetaphil just like you did and im impressed with the products
IM AM A DEDICATED MARY KAY USER AND ITS KINDA EXPENSIVE SO I WANTED TO CHANGE TO SOMETHING KINDA CHEAPER AND I THOUGHT MAYBE AMBI WOULD WORK FOR ME BUT GIRL YOU CHANGED MY MIND I JUST PURCHASED THIS AMBI EVEN N CLEAR DAILY MOISTURIZER. MARY KAY HAS DONE ME GOOD JUST IN MY CITY ITS HARD TO COME BY AND ITS EXPENSIVE ..SO I GUESS ILL JUST STICK TO MY MARY KAY N FORK OUT THEM EXTRA BUCKS... YOU SHOULD USE THEM ALSO MARY KAY 3 IN 1 TIMEWISE CLEANSER IS REALLY GOOOD TRY IT!
you should just use a bar of dove soap or the liquid and you the ambi fade cream. it really works. just dedicate one whole day being inside you house and keep applying the fade cream just to the dark spots, and by night you will see a difference. trust me, its worth a try.
I would advise Biore products. I've been using it for about a month and a half and the changes are amazing! I even go days without makeup because of how my complexion has cleared up and less breakouts and blackheads. I think it will perfect for you.
the cetaphil is great my kids doctor recommended to me and i have been using it for about 6 years and i use it on my kids as well my skin is great.... and now i wanted to hears some reviews on the ambi produts.i touch my face alot when im at work and its about 500 people there and u know the germs are crazy but thats another story its hard for me not to rub my face...i have just like a little dark spots on my chin where i rub all the time. love to hear about other products..thanks for the info
try De La Cruz Pomada De Azufre Sulfur Ointment for acne and elicina snail cream for you're face...they work really good might help you out...but the Pomada works really good! takes away the scabs from picking you're face in like3 days...i have a bad habbit of picking every little bump on my face to and that's what i use and it works well.....try it...
Dude I'm all late on this, but my lip does the same thing for different reasons because I have skin allergies easily and it came out of nowhere. My lip became red like I had some lipstick on lol. I never wore any make up, but i think if it happens again take some allergy medication (antihistamine). I can't use any chapstick no matter how natural, I use lubriderm and aveeno baby lotion when desperate around the lips and honey on my lips. Try honey, but don't lick your lips too much lol.
"If it's burning it's working" LOL Girl I had the same idea when I used these products! Thanks for the review, I was starting to think it was just me. Are you seeing any results from any other products? :)
try neutragena visibly even. it works relly well for me and i have sensitive skin :) hope it helps.. the only thing is that it costs about 13 dollars, but it lasts me a long time. i use it once a day, sparingly
Oh wow. I was thinking of buying Ambi for my skin. I use clean and clear daily moistureizer and i wash my face with dove soap. Thanks for this review cause i will not be gettin Abmi if its gonna have my face all burning and breaking out more.
i love ambi fade cream...it is the best! i dont use the other products...bcuz i use aveeno's cream cleanser and aveeno's moisturizer! but the fade cream works sooo fast!
ive been using ambi even and clear cream for about a week and just yester day my face started to burn and turn bright red.I am of a medium brown complection and i have never turned red in my life.I was very dissappointed in this product.i too have rash like bumps and dry skin all over my face.
So happy to see this review on the Ambi Foaming Cleanser. I also had an allergic reaction to the product; parts of my face started to itch and my eyes were irritated, even the following day.
i just purchased it and washed my face for the first time...it feels tingly. i think that's a bad sign. i will spend the $10 more and buy my clinique-i don't want another sensitive skin/eczema outbreak. thanks for the review.
ambi foam wash did the same for my face. My cheeks and forehead was dry with small bumps! I used hydrocortison cream to clear it up and threw the ambi foam wash away! Doesnt work for everyone
Wow, its sound like you had a really bad allregric reaction to the ambi products. You may just have sensitive skin and have to stick to hypoallerginic products. Cetaphil was a good choice, but if you want something that will help prevent any pimples Aveeno is a great product. Aveeno is made mostly from oats and is very soothing. Hope I helped, take care! :-)
they do have a product for those ance spots!!! its the target mark minimizer... i use it for my acne scars i get from picking at them! let me tell you it works! only ten bucks at walmart and i love it...
Looks like you had an allergic reaction and I think it's because you have eczema? Looks like you have it on your hands. People with eczema (like me) have to be SO careful on what they use on their skin. You should ALWAYS do a patch test first for a week
wow what an unfortunate experience u had, sounds like an allergic reaction maybe, i used the foam clanser, moisturizer and fade cream for a good while and i havent had any problems
sorry to hear, either ur using to much bleaching product( which is the h word thingy ) or its actually working. in order for ur face to get better it has to get worsts. i remeber i started using this acne product, and for a week my face was so dry and flaky i could even move my lips, but the next week i all went away and i saw a huge improvement in my face.
girl i was so sad i went and got all the ambi line and i was using it for like a week and my face broke out in a rash...... so i broke the product to see which item was breaking me out. now the only thing that i can use is the moisturizer
with fade cream do u only put the cream on the dark spot or do you put it all over ur face, beacue have loads of scars but they are quite tiny, and have very uneven skin tone
My face was very itchy when I first started to use the moisurizer...But my problem was due to me using ProActive with it. I stopped using ProActive and Ambi has saved my skin. But everything doesn't work for everyone. ALSO if you stop using another product and just start using another your face will go through some changes. Thats what happened to me, but now my face is clear.
i have scars that came from me gettin cut with a knofe on my face... theres 2 of them one is one is 5 years old and the other is 3 years old .. i use the cream and it hasnet work as fast as gettin rid of the others blemishes why u think that is ?
oh well to get rid of the blemishes i mixed somthing called ultra glo fade cream and ambi fade creamat the same time and it work very well one of the blemishes another one started tp fade too as far as my scars from the knife cuts i havent found anything to heal them i tryed neosporin but there old scars so that might be why.....ps watch my vids subscribe and rate
i use a diffrent kind of ambi right now which is NOT really working for me right now. I naturally have very oily skin and the "targeted dark mark minimizer" just makes it worse so i only use it at night. i wanna try a diffrent kind of ambi, and i WILL NOT be using the kind that burned u.LOL THANKS FOR POSTING!
i have really oily skin & i use ambi blacksoap now & then put astringent on it & it works. my pimples start to leave & my face doesnt get oily. im also using the fade cream to try and fade old pimple scars. i havent seen a drastic change yet put ill give up to 3 weeks to determine if it works.
that is what I am doing also and I also add benzoyl peroxide to fight the pimples from coming. I put the fade cream for oil skin directly on the spot. I do have halo-effect going on so I am no making sure it 's directly on the spots. I don't use toners, they SUCK! They cause more damage so I use witch hazel with a few drops of tea tree oil.
omg girl!! thers something you should know! everything was working really well for me till the day before yesterday! i almost hit my 2weeks mark but before i did all of a sudden on the 9th a bright patch appeared under my eye! yesterday it got bigger & brighter! ughh im a monster!! lol. im laughing but i really do feel horrible that it happened. i called today & the first person told me to call back later. i called back about 30 minutes ago & a different person answered.
i spoke to him very politely and calmly and he told me to wait for about 2 months for the pigment to return. my face showed no indication that that was going to happen. i didnt get burning or peeling or anything. he offered me coupons after my question was answered but grrr! im going to have to wear makeup for 2 months! & thats if hes right. ill show pictures if you want to see. another thing is that i asked are the results permanent and he told me that they werent & after time the marks return.
I wish that I'd watched this video sooner. I just brought the same Ambi products earlier today. I used the products just a few hours ago and my face is still burning. It started out as a tingle and now it's burning. I will be taking them back to Walgreen's tomorrow.
omigosh! thanks for the heads up on ambi--i hadn't started yet, but i'll be sure to be careful.
i'm happy with my current AHA face cleanser/toner/exfoliant, i think i will only try the ambi fade cream since my only issue is dark circle/spots.
thanks for this video, again. i was going to completely switch to an ambi regimen before i knew that one can have a strong allergic reaction. so, i'll stick with my current cleansing routine since it works and is safe. :) & just try the fade cream
also keep in mind that just because it didnt work for her skin doesnt mean it wont work for yours everyone skin type is different regardless of race and everyones skin needs to be treated for its specific needs
hello again! i took the plunge and picked up the fade cream; my skin is not reacting badly--i think it's because my skin is conditioned to AHAs and glycolic acid from years of using alphahydroxy; so much so that it's not as fast acting with me; there is less discoloration, my dark circles have a way to go before they're not noticeable anymore. i will hang in there and continue, 'cause it's doing OK with me, so far.
thats allergic reaction. sorry

i spoke to him very politely and calmly and he told me to wait for about 2 months for the pigment to return. my face showed no indication that that was going to happen. i didnt get burning or peeling or anything. he offered me coupons after my question was answered but grrr! im going to have to wear makeup for 2 months!
