@rockband3singer When I record videos I sing into two microphones with the original vocal track minimized in the game settings. One microphone for the game (which is what produces the scoring arrow) and another one connected to my laptop. I take both tracks and sync them up in my editing software and balance the audio, which is why you can hear me clearly without Scott Weiland's voice.
@mechamind90 I've got most of the pieces to my old RB1/RB2 character collected. I just forgot to select a character here. Not too many worries here, though there ARE a lot of pieces that are just gone.

Now if you, even being a bass singer, could reach most of those notes without falsetto, looks like I totally can reach them with even having natural baritone range. That should be a great experience.
@TidusOfSH uh... hate to break it to you, but this song doesnt require high range, even if you cant belt it out with standard chest singing (which you shouldnt do anyway for a mellow song like this) strengthen head voice or even full voice, falsetto isnt the only option dude
@JakeTF2 TidusOfSH's comment was directed at me. My normal singing range is a deep bass: B1 is my lowest reachable note on a warm summer day. Any lower and I'd be basso profondo. He was simply expressing surprise that I was able to hit some of the higher notes in this song without falsetto. Most baritones should be able to sing this song with no trouble whatsoever.
@IcemageJT i know it was, and using standard talk about bass baraton etc, is merely excuses, jaime vendera is a bass, and he can go record high, it doesnt matter what you 'class' yourself as voice wise, with years of patient gradual improvement, you can hit anything, surely this is good news for singers like you?
@JakeTF2 I'm totally sure I can sing this song full voice with little effort. But you speak of Jaime Vendera, basses who can shatter glasses, etc., but I never aspired, and never will aspire to be a singer, and I'm sure Icemage doesn't too. Why should I spend years of training until I get like 4 octaves of chest voice range...just to play a measly game?
@TidusOfSH don't bring up technical singing terms then, confuses real musicians into thinking you know what you're talking about (btw naturally being a baratone doesnt mean you'll automatically be able to sing songs other baratones can.) geoff tate is a baratone
I noticed the sensitivity being weird too. When on my own I play in a pretty small room and the natural sound of the game often triggers entire tamborine phases for me without touching the mic at all. Makes me wonder just how hot the mic is!
how do you only hear your voice and not scott weilands voice? i think is what mad is trying to say, i would also like to know this.

It's a pretty easy song to sing. I have sang this song on expert vocals 100% also. It's an awesome song.

My favorite song of all time, by my favorite band of all time. I had NO idea RB3 had this song on the game.
