  • Hold on, cats can get HIV?

  • @Truthseeker4449 An HIV related virus.... FIL

  • 14:10 yes the kittys are cute, but I perfer the snakes. Though the cat at 15:00 is really cool.

  • do those glass panels have locks on them?

  • @timkul76 Some do some don't

  • Love the taipan.

  • You have some really beautiful snakes, do they take up a lot of your time? I wouldn't fancy helping you clean them out lol! <3

  • Your green mambas are very cool masters of disguise. They also sort of creep me out. Beautiful snakes, Viperkeeper!

  • you have some really nice snakes, but deadly to :P

  • I just stumbled on to your videos and love this one. I am a cat owner and loved seeing your two dogs, one cat and the two kittens. You are doing a great job!!!

  • You know, I really love watching your snakes, I LOVE LOVE LOVE the curious cobra I thought he was the cutest thing I've ever seen! However, I thought it was really neat that you showed us your other animals. That was really sweet and special. That was an awesome thing saving those two kitties. Go Viper Keeper!

  • Speaking of starter snakes. What do you think about massaqua rattlesnake? I saw a little massaqua rattlesnake in Chicago zoo and fell in love. What a beautiful, peaceful, and graceful creature. Are they hard to keep?

  • Quite toxic & painful bite...not to mention they are protected federally & by states where they are found

  • I love your snakes. They are beautiful. The story about the grey cat's neck was pretty gross XD.

  • Wasn't pleasent for the cat either...

  • Not really...look at my catalog of videos and there are some RS vids in there.

  • taipen seems frendly

  • I'm sure T-rex seemed friendly too.

  • haaa VK im jalou-s at all your pets the dog and cat.. -so cuty :)

  • im eating chicken and i 4got you feed the snakes mice in your videos -.-

  • enjoy

  • do you have any non venomous snakes?

  • No, none, nada

  • Like the Arutu (sic?), are there any of your animals that you really just dread having to handle? which are you most weary of?

  • Urutu

Anything Bothrops is always a scary proposition.

  • Taipan questions... when you said didn't thaw them for her did you mean they weren't meant for HER? or you didn't actually wait until they finished defrosting? I assume/hope the first case.....don't you worry that they'll swallow the substrate and maybe get an impaction? her mouse had some stuck to it when she dragged it off......and lastly, maybe a water change there, Al for her???? lol

  • I am very careful not to give feed items that are not completely thawed out.

Do snakes magically avoid eating debri in the wild? Of course not. Do I worry about them eating some substrate, not at all. Why, I make sure they are hydrated.

  • oh......

  • pretty mambas and

"ROAR I"M A BLACK MAMBA WHO MEANS BUSINESS" lol

  • you crack me up when you talk to them

  • Another wonderful vid! Absolutely gorgeous black mamba strikes!

  • whoop mixed bag video, very nice snakes, just love the black mamba. its great what your doing for the kittens.

  • Do you take in stray cats or something?

  • Not really but these are kittens from the barn cats we have on the property. We catch the kittens, socalize them and find homes for them.

  • That taipan reminds me of a coachwhip I kept as a kid. Can't really afford to get tagged by a taipan, though.... Cool snake.

  • yeah Al, this snake fear problem is among many of my friends and my work colegues...lol when i'm watching your vids from work, the girl behind me once said i'm a snake freak, how can i watch that kind of clips. See u can even cure ppl with ur vid, Congrats on that, im excited everytime i watch ur vids, a bit scared that u won't get bitten but rest it's fun and quite interesting.

P.S. Nice cats, mine plays with laser like crazy too...and is 7 years old lol

  • at 4:15 was that a droplet of venom?

  • I suffer from Ophidiophobia (extreme fear of snakes). My therapist recommended that I watch your channel as part of my therapy. This intense fear started when a Black Kingsnake, 6 feet long was under my livingroom curtains. My cat alerted me that something was behind there. I about had a stroke that night, but the fear stayed.

I now see that all snakes are not "out to get me". Just wanted to say thank you for these educational videos! Before this I could not even look at a picture of a snake.

  • Fantastic, congrats :-)

  • This beats T.V by a long shot!!!

  • Thanks :-)

  • Wow Al, a lot of funny replies from you on this video! Maybe it will teach some people to take a little more time when they are typing.

  • They supply the material, I cannot resist.

  • Do you carry anti-venoms on hand when you are handling these animals?

  • No, but I keep some in fridge down stairs though....

  • do u old the cam with gloves or is it mounted on a pole?

  • I old it with my hand

  • awesome story about the cats. you truly are a messiah for these animals :-P

  • i am sure youve answered this a million times before, but i was curious if you ever been bit before ,and if so by what?

  • have you ever been nitten by any of your snakes?

  • No.... never been nitten before

  • lol..

  • Purps are always pissy - It seems they're probably one of the most dangerous snakes to work with.

And wtf....So you caught a wild cat?? -And I thought Botfly's were only abroad....didn't think they were found in the states.

  • Red's cage looks really nice, I like it! :)

  • bot flies are from south america

  • Bot fly are found everywhere

  • im scared of your gaboon viper, but its awsome! :)

  • cob webs? doesn't seem very sanitary.

  • I like spiders

  • Spiders and tarantulas are very picky about what they leave in their webs , science is even trying developing spider silk to make silk for stitching up wounds to potentially help them heal without scarring! pretty cool! you should look up on google TannerShow you would be amazed what beauty and behavior lies in spiders maybe you would appreciate them, they are natrual pest control as well.

  • I love that at the beggining. Distract the snake, then steel his skin. Very sneaky.

  • 07:56 is that blak thing a pen cap

  • Temperature sensor

  • oh cool

  • 14:39 wow those reptiles are deadly

  • Why can't you trust snakes ?

    They speak with forked tongues

  • you crazy viperkeeper!

  • Nice video again my hero :) 5*

  • gotta be honest, i loved the kitties lol

  • Hey Al,

That pretty taipan makes me so jealous. I guess I won`t be so jealous if it bites you though:).

As for the red spitter, when I had my couple, I was always astounded by their feeding response. They are known to tear mice in half due to the strength of their pull.

    Great video as always!

Hey show these kids some "Ottoman madness" once in a while!

    Yasin

  • do you breed your own mice and rats?

  • no he doesnt, he gets his stuff from rodentpro which is a website specialized for frozen reptile food, sorry i answered this for u Al but u have a lot on your hands and i thought why not help out lol. great vid man, as always, loved it! good luck in the future! hope u stay safe!

  • ty :) Just a Q.

When I had a python we used to breed our own.

  • No, too much time & trouble

  • fair enough :) I remember one day my sister got into the mouse cage, took out HEAPS and put them in a container, she was sitting in fron tof the snake's cage (small childrens python) and informed us that she was going to feed him (snake was only maybe 2 ft long, she ahd about 25 mice.....hmmm lol)

  • lmao i dont know what it is yet (black mamba) i havent lifted its skurt yet. lol

  • Love the footage of the kitties. Its like the softer, gentler version of Viperkeeper lol...The mambas are just fascinating to watch.

  • Poor Grub! Botflies are so nasty.

  • That Taipan was such a darling. So gentle taking the food from the forceps as well. Such surprising behavior. And so inquisitive. Half tempted to call it cute until the thing kills me. LOL.

  • 21 minutes of pure entertainment! =)) Great video. Hope to see an update on how those two "knuckleheads" are doing. ^^ thx

  • great vid and awesome snakes 5*

  • Great video! The part with the green mamba in the tree was very cool!

  • No mongoose but two deadly kitties. Maybe you don't need a shotgun?

  • Hey Al, great vid as always, the Tiapan is growing and looking great, WOW, I was astonished to see you using the short forceps with the taipan, I would have certainly thought you would have used the long ones for them, as quick and spastic as they usally are? I saw it looking past the pinky and I was saying NO, NOT THE HAND, PLEASE NOT THE HAND. You had me sweating bullets.Glad everything went ok, take care as always, Lee

  • awsome show but im not a cat fan. 5*

  • Everyone, the quality will improve once the video is completely finished processing.

  • Al You Are The Only Person I Know Who Would Make Up A Conversation With A Viper Haha, Good Video as always!

  • lol love the cats!!!

  • nice man keep up the cool vids :)

  • was it blurry or was it my computer

  • his camera often focuses on the background instead of the snake. I'm not sure if there are cameras specificallly built for snakes. :3

  • I love mixed bags! 5*s awesome vid!
