@mattownsu95 - I have been meaning to, I just havn't gotten around to it.  It really is very simple, just pull line out of your amp or pa and send directly to the DP-004, and record.

is it possible to record drums on the tascam dp-004

@mattownsu95 - I recorded the drums in this video using a drum machine to one channel. Bottom line is that you can record anything with the Tascam DP-004 or DP-008. You can only record two channels (A & B) at a time. If you have 5 mics on a "real" drum set you would need to run them to a mixer, and then pull a master out to A and B on the Tascam. Hope this helps.
