  • Spock?! Where did he come From?! hehe

  • Your reviews are superb sir.

  • Incredible review you are terrific Clik Clak

  • hi does this awsome looking valkyrie have waiste rotation in robot form?

  • @kairus1 Not really, but a new version of this toy is about to be released, which is much better then this version. Don't have it yet, but will once it's released.

  • most of these battleroid forms suck... and battleroid form is my favorite form T_T

  • AH!!! I got the VF-25S with the armor pack, it was awesome until (without knowing why) it got broke, now I can`t transform it and it is only on battloid form, and it is imposible to fix it

  • I have been looking to acquire one of these, but I can never seem to find the Chogokins consistently or for non ridiculous prices, could you give me a few pointers on where I could perhaps find a few?

  • I wish the model kit version was cheap. It's a really cool looking kit when its in figther mode.

  • @stryderprime Keep an eye on HLJ it was going for about 50% off a while back and picked up 2 I previously decided to skip. The 1/72 kit is probable the most challenging build I've done, the water sliders decal are unforgiving!

  • Do any of the valks come with super packs and heavy armor?

  • @SnIkLeeT They do, if you check out places like Amiami or HLJ

  • I am starting my collection, I have the 1/72 VF-11, YF-19 and a 1/60 VF-1 Hikaru. I Was thinking of the 1/72 model kits for the frontier collection to begin with. What do you think?

  • @Shintoryu111 The 1/72 Frontier kits are nice, a good bit of work to build; but worth the effort.

  • I have a recesst for a review. I would like to see you review the VF-25 Luca custom.

  • What scale would you recommend?

  • @killerbee126 Both the 1/60 and 1/72 are nice. Personally I like the 1/72 the most but this is a model kit so you have to build it yourself and is quite delicate. The 1/60 is probable the best all round version being a toy.

  • Sweet! Where can I get one of these?

  • @killerbee126 Places like HobbyLink Japan or Amiami

  • oh my god, that battle sequence was brilliant!

  • What is the rock pop song that playing in the second part? it rocks. Macross does too!

  • @700gsteak It's from the Macross Frontier sound track, well worth the cash!

  • @Wizartar Would yo uknow what the song is called? I cant find it.

  • @700gsteak You mean Lion? It's the second op to Frontier.

  • @atjnAdfhhjea wait, I DO know this song. lol Thanks

  • I could explain how good are the scales? 1 / 60 as measured? or which level is best? or what is more advisable because

  • @kingcraft86 1/60 is the best all round scale, it looks good, durable for play and big, but cost the most. The 1/72 scale looks the best, but is very delicate and easily broken. The 1/100 is a cheap toy and has a few issues, if you can get the 1/100 at 50% off then it starts to be come a good deal.

  • @Wizartar What s

  • Every macross fight scene should have "SPOCK NO!!"

  • COOL MEN

  • Ah man I LOVE your videos! The Spock vs Captain Kirk music had me LOL'ing :) And I like how you show what's in the box! Keep up the entertaining and informative work :D! I can't wait to get my Osma Custom in the mail!

  • "Sorry the models are not to scale."

    Doc Brown

  • spock! no !:)

  • I built one and it barely transformes lke the way its suppost to.

  • Ha, ha,ha,ha...Great!! Eva X Valkyrie.

  • thanks friend, eeehh.....

And are joints of metal? That so high is compared by the optimus?

  • @smokeprime2008 Most are metal but not all, the elbow is plastic.

Not sure what you're asking about Optimus, but MP Prime has lots more metal.

  • do u have luca's vf-25

  • @legonakonow I do, but since I don't have room to display it, it's packed away.

  • @Wizartar can u do a review on it soon

  • @legonakonow I'll be lucky to get any reviews done soon... work is kick'n me ass these days

  • @Wizartar k thanks my ass is hard on work on papercraft vf 25 models no kidding

  • Hello friend who is better this chogokin or that this one climbs 1/72, buys me 1/72 but my stupid I give priority me to jodio and pss see that this better this one according to which it brings pieces of metal and joints more resistant?

  • @smokeprime2008 It depends on what you want to do, if you want to transform it a lot then the toy DX is best. While if it's just for display then the 1/72 scale is better value for money.

  • Hello friend who is better this chogokin or that this one climbs 1/72, buys me 1/72 but my stupid I give priority me to jodio and pss see that this better this one according to which it brings pieces of metal and joints more resistant, to all that you salio $?

  • his gun is a shark

  • how hard is it to make?

  • @LordBazaar This version of the VF-25 is a toy so you don't have to make it. There is a 1/72 scale that's a model kit.

  • @Wizartar thanks that cleared up a lot

  • whats the white one with red and black stripes called? sorry i know nothing about macross

  • @TH3otherwhone Think you're referring to the "Do you remember Love, VF-1A, Hikaru Ichijo"

  • That's pretty funny XD!!! Eva Unit 1! but i think Unit 1 shoudl be able to take Ozma no problem....it's interesting since the size of Eva is a LOT bigger than a valkyrie :O

  • @GloomyBearEat But Ozma is an ace pilot, where as Shinji is a 10 year old. The EVA units can't fly and have a 5 minute battery when you cut the power cable, while the VF-25 can go airborne and has no flight ceiling.

  • genial viva robotech

  • @lexos001 VIVA MACROSS. robotech lol.

  • that thing is sweet, designed after the Jolly Roger US Navy Fighter Squadron.

  • I love the fight scene with the unit 1 ...imagine a bigger vf fighting an eva in evangelion lol

  • what is the price of this?

  • @karabanana011 check out somewhere like Amiami or HLJ to see the price, it changes

  • @Wizartar thanx! :)

  • MY ARM!!!!

  • Hahah! Awesome fight scene!! I don't know anything about Macross...=/ Where did you get the Eva Sniper?!?! That thing looks awesome!!!!!

  • @GundamGuns HLJ had it on sale ages ago so picked it up.

  • @Wizartar Ahhh!!! Thank you Thank you!!! It is still on sale!!! =D!!!!!!!

  • @Wizartar I just ordered one!! Thanks for letting me know!! You rock Wizartar!!!

  • @GundamGuns Cool, you won't be disappointed! and Yes I do! XD \,,/

  • nice

    Ozma Custom best one imo

  • how can you afford all of your macross mecha??? i only have 2 vf-1`s` and 1 vf-25

  • i bet it cost a bomb

  • how much is this n where did u get it from, im new 2 collecting macross mecha lol

  • @StevoE26 checkout either HLJ or Amiami you'll get all the info you need

  • @Wizartar thanks dude, i love ur reviews

  • Star Trek reference hahaha awesome.

  • Was that the noise of a tea cup being knocked off a table? Fun music :)

  • Sorry for the noob question...

How can you make the difference between a built kit and the one already build.

Any special name? I'm in Japan and I can't tell the difference when looking at all the box. ( nobody talk english in that country? ).

Also in term of quality, better to go "built yours" or "ready to use".

    thanks.

  • @hxllxman @hxllxman Yes, look for the letters DX, that's the pre-built toy. If you see the 1/72 then that's the snap kits.

Which is better is down to what you want. If you like the building snap kits then the 1/72 is slightly better then the toy. But if you've never built a kit the toy is better.

  • @Wizartar Thanks for the infos, I guess will go with the built kit since I have done couple MG Gundam.

    Shouldn't be worst lol

  • nice fight scene

  • Wizartar, you may need to inspect all the hinges on your VF-25 figures. I just got the VF-25S Armored Messiah, and the left hinge that connects the back/wings to the torso cracked and snapped off in only its second transformation. Also, I discovered two cracked hinges under the chest area near the head.

Still, this is an awesome figure.

  • Thanks for the heads up I'll have to keep an eye on that.

  • BTW, are you gonna review the Armored Messiah any time soon?

  • Well, about the knifes and weapons...they are the least thing you might whant to compare, since the main thingy is that the tranformation goes well, as well like the armour detaililg. But once again...how far woud one go for a well crafted figure?.

  • kick ass battle scene. lol!

  • my god this cool. i got to get one. LOL i like how you put it up against EVA01 LOL nice touch

  • ohh i want it!

  • Actually, the nose cone of VF-25 is more similar to that of the SV-51.

  • What happened to the articulated fingers?

  • Something's wrong with the head-mounted lasers... They're not straight.

  • Personally, for the presentation of Ozma's VF-25S, I would have used any good "Fire bomber" song, as he is a great fan of that band.

Any good song such as "Remember 16", "Totsugeki love heart", "Planet dance", "Try again", or maybe even "My soul for you" would have done the thing.

I'm not saying that "Lion" doesn't suit it, no. Also, I know that Macross 7 isn't as good as the other Macross series, but still I think that any of the songs I mentioned above would've been better.

  • Agreed!

I've never watched Macross 7 and only recently bought some Firebomer songs... next time! ;)

  • Then you don't know of Nekki Basara's Custom VF-19 "Fire Valkyrie"(Entirely red)... Lol, at least, know that this one has the particularity of having an electric guitar as it's main control.

  • if im not wrong he should have dose bulky armor with it

  • Excellent video. Very fun to watch. I was laughing during the EVA battle. Clever use of the Star Trek fight audio. How much did this model cost?

  • A lot, it would be about $120

  • you lie.

just kidding. Damn, that's a lot

  • These toys are the dog's bollocks!

  • SPOCK!, NO! XD

  • hai, when do u buy this vf-25? I would like to have 1.thx

  • I got this from HobbyLink Japan when it was first released.

  • Cool! I'm looking forward to getting the armor, hopefully next week. It's in the post. Glad the transformation video could help.

  • The editing of that fight sequence was masterful.

  • Thanks

  • I'm definitely not a fan of the VF-25's Battroid mode. I really hate how the fuselage hangs on the back and the ankles are too long. Not too mention that Bandai didn't do a great job of designing the toy. Those shopping cart landing gear wheels just killed it for me. The Armored versions look nice in pics, but from what I've heard on Macross World, it's still a letdown. Too much to pay for the quality I'd be getting. I'd rather get a new 1/60 VF-1 from Yamato.

  • > shopping cart landing gear wheels

    LoL! describes them perfectly!

I've said it in another video but the 1/72 scale is the best one to go for if you don't mind building plamo.

  • Can you also do a review on the RVF? Not just the VF-25S 1/72?

  • damn bro how u get the money for this i wish i had that kind nice review bro

  • thank u so much..i going to buy the 1/72 luca custom valkyrie with ghost..

  • i have a question on the messiah valkyries that are made from bandi do u have to assemble them?like they come with a lots of parts or what?Comment back plz..

  • This one comes completed so no assemble what so ever. But there are other's that you have to assemble like the 1/72 scale.

  • Ah.. the crinkle of a fresh bag as you take out something from it. So...fun.

  • Can you please finish your 1/72 model and review it? Cause I want it, but I'm not sure if transformation goes too smoothly.

  • The decal'ing is almost done just need to do 3 more! But finding the time at the moment is the problem. It will be done in July for sure.

  • But its only three decals!! You can do it any time! Unless you are procrastinating?

  • is this his final robot in the final episode of macross frontier??..

  • No, this is the one seen thought the series

  • Damn again. You already got the Michael version. Well, are you getting the Luca version?

  • Have the Luca, but haven't reviewed it yet.

  • You should get Luca's and Michael's

    Valkyries. Are you planning to?

  • Where do you get THE CASH TO BUY THIS STUFF?

  • it's called having a job kid. go back to school and then get one.

  • brilliant showinggg mate !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Hello, queria to ask, that differentiates has east model with the Yamato, also of scale 1/60. And the wheels are of rubber?

  • Yes. they gotten rubber wheels

  • Can anybody please tell me whether HLJ does also shipping to Mauritius? I really want to buy the 1/72 VF-25 and a Gundam line marker, as well as the necessary paint(Just so that to make it not look too plastic like a 6-year-old child toy).

  • Lmao that was funny. VF-25 vs Eva 1.

  • These toys are really expensive, from $180-$250+ price range. Anyway, still prefer gundams and evangelions towards ready-made action figures.

  • lol i just got done watching cable guy, and you had to put in that soundbit lol

  • I am tempted to get a version of the VF-25 but how durable are these toys?

  • I'd say reasonable durable, hips seem to the most lightly things to get loose first then ball joints for the shoulders. Overall it I say it's about OK. IMO, I don't think it would survive a drop from 4 foot to floor.

But it really depends on what you're comparing it. Not many collector toys would be child friendly or built to take the rough and tumble.

  • Thats great. Thing is I do not want buying something thats going to break or fall apart the minute it is touched considering the price. I owned a 1/48 vf-1s and parts of it broke removing it from the tray....and as for the Aoshima Legioss, rubbish. Would you say that it would better constructed than them.

  • Well I'd say it's slightly better then a 1/48 VF-1S. But the VF-1S Roy had QC problems from what I've read that had to be fixed in a second release, but I've never had any problems with the 1/48 scale.

The one think to note with the VF-25 is the paint can chip off it when transforming. Especially the chest plate, if you've see the transformation you can see it might hit just behind the cockpit. Mines OK, but I tent to not transform them much. But others have noted this.

  • My VF-1S was a second release. That is good to know about the paint chipping, I will probably get one when I decide on which model I like.

  • Do you suppose the company has manufactured another version of these models based on the same scale(1/60 since its the best featured product) but completely pure metal then as to ensure durability wise for us collectors? I'm really quite new to these products but I'm really a die hard fan of some certain macross stuffs. I know it cost a lot of bucks but at the least its worth it.

  • While I haven't see one; I believe the Ozma & Alto have been updated in the second version of this 1/60 DX. But it's only very small changes.

Normally it's as is; unless they do a limited edition run. I can't see this one getting 100% metal. It's already got a good bit for a model coming out these days. It adds a lot of weight to the figure. Bandai have put a good deal of effort into keeping the package small and light which is good for shipping.

  • this is awesome, the fight scene and the "NO, SPOCK" makes it brilliant

  • great review, thanks!

  • Will you soon post a review on the 1/60 Luca Angeloni's RVF-25? I'm curious to see it. Recon type fighters are not really popular, but I'm still curious to see it.

  • I will, just don't know when exactly.

  • Ozma Lee is just another Roy Foker.

  • fantastico

  • where can i get gundam line marker?

  • A Hobby shop, amazon, HLJ (HobbyLink Japan) there's lots of places online

  • What are gundam line markers?

  • It's just a pen that has a very small nib to allow detailing.

  • Ok thanks, dude.

  • read that armored pack is being released with a ozma custom as a bundle.

  • I was that, HLJ has it up for pre-order for about a week now.

  • the pictures dont look too promising. i think its kinda dumb that they decided to make you buy a second valykrie instead of just releasing the parts seperate.

  • From what I've seen Bandai updated the valk. and fixed the neck issue! Which should have been done from the start, me thinks that might have been premeditated. Not sure if they also did additional changes for the Amour to attach??? Ozma seems to have sold slowly compared to Alto, IMO the neck issue was a deal breaker for some. Mine spends it time in fighter mode to show off the shield & skull logo, as it doesn't quite look right in battroid

  • where did you see pictures at?

  • Check out Macross World forum they have a topic Official Bandai 1/60 Scale DX Toy Thread Ver 4 page 37/38 linkys to pictures

  • thx. just look into it. looks good. my only concern is if the chest plate will over power the rest of it and make the neck seem non-existent.

  • I can't decide between the 1/72 and the 1/60 scale. The 1/60 scale looks absolutely awesome and a pretty good size. I know the 1/72 is more a transformable model kit and the 1/60 is a toy, but between the two, which do you like better? Do you think the flexible laser cannons can be replaced with something less flexible, like brass tube on the 1/60? The dimensions on the 1/72 look to be more accurate, less 'chunky'.

  • IMO it's the 1/60, but the 1/72 is really nice, there's very little between the two and I'd say both are very good. If you have the moding skills I'm sure the head cannons could be replaced. As for the dimensions it's comes down to personal taste.

  • Thanks! The more I look at the 1/60 the more I want it, so that's the way I'll go.

  • One last question- do you ever do the panel lines on the 1/60? If so, how do you do them?

  • No, only the model kits. Gundam Line Marker, but am now trying to using brush and diluted black paint.

  • are you planning to get the vf-25 full armored?

  • Armer yes, FAST pack no.

  • Like the TOS fighting music. ^^

  • how much did u get this for?

  • Too much, check out some where link HobbyLink Japan for a price guide for Macross

  • alrite i will do that. and yeah i wouldn't be surprised if its costly. nice model tho

  • A VERY nice video and a big thanks coz it help me to observe this plane before I buy it and it really helps me a lot. Kudos to you Wizartar.

Comment on the plane: It's quality looks outstanding and the size is just perfect to be in par with the Yamato production lines of Macross Fighters. The only weaknesses in this product is that the details on the plane lacks those of the 1/72 scale ones. Plus the head laser turrets are too flexible. Even with these problems, I still recommend this plane.

  • Thanks, glad you found it useful.

  • how do i get one here in México

  • nice work thanks a lot i will soon get the f and s i hope is this co better than yamto they make me mad that i pay a lot for nice toys but not work good for stop motion thanks keep up the good info

  • Yeah VF-25 ROCKS, .!!!!!

your colecction is amazing, Vf-1S, VF-0S VF-25S, and eva's, do u have gundams ?, this anime is great too.

(great music fight for eva 01 vs Vf-25S ozma jajaja classic in star trek)

  • Thanks, I do have some Gundam but only a couple.

  • Epic knife fight, hehe. I really like all of your reviews - they are both entertaining and informative. *Subscribed*

Any chance we'll get to see you do a review of the Beagle/Toynami 1/10 Ride Armor?

  • Thanks, don't currently have any Mospeada figures.

  • THANK YOU Wizatar. i'm a Macross Fan from Mexico

Excelent Video. i envy you XDD

  • Thanks

  • EVA vs. the VF-25, Nice!!!

  • Good show. Might be better if you had a better set and lighting. That said, looking back at your first few uploads you've really made progress. Keep uploading
