the graphics look the way they do is because its gonna be an MMO! its physically impossible to make a game with awesome graphics and with thousands of players online in the same location at the same time! I mean look at World of Warcraft. That game doesnt exactly have great graphics and yet look how successful it is!

Im afraid the miracle of havin a huge MMO game with stunning graphics is just impossible...for the moment that is...

Actually, it's going to be instance based.

Which is not a bad thing and something that more and more MPOGs tend to do nowadays as it allows to deliver single player elements (repetitive story driven missions with actual 'winning' or 'finishing') that are otherwise will be too difficult to make work.

But, technically, it is not much of a MMO if you run it instanced with co-shared launch/rest public hubs instead of one giant seamless world.

I doubt that champions online or any other mmo will make it to the 360. I'm a 360 owner and would love it if it did. but the VP of MS said july 2008 that they are to strick for mmo to work with their online system. I'm thinking of getting a high end computer just to play champions online.Sony also has a team over at cryptic to learn how to do those types of games.Goto cryptic website to learn more from the posts and threads.

the graphics aren't bad, and not every MMO can run around being Crysis because they have too much to render, since there are 20-100 live players in any given area.

and the character models are loaded from the disk, and maybe HDD on PC versions.....only the character positions and actions are communicated through the internet.
