That's totally fine, I was running around too! Thank you for all your help, and advice. I will definitely cloak anything in a blog post, and will try and find more about possibly not being able to cloak amazon links. But your right, it is obvious that they are from Amazon's website, so that may not be an issue worth resolving. Thank you for all your time!
@AdrienneSmith40 piano lesson girl net/accessories/ This is what I was working on. If you go to the first link on this page (On stage classic bench) and hover over the link, it still shows my affiliate link in the bottom corner, but piano lesson girl net/singlexkeyboardstand is the pretty link I created. It takes you to the correct amazon page (just like if you click on the link on my site) but it still shows my affiliate stuff. Thank you for all your time! :)
@PianoLessonGirl Hey Dakota, sorry for the late response. Had an appointment I had to run out to.
I did hover over it and you are so right. My only thought could be that is that a widget from Amazon's site? If so then you probably can't change those links is my thought process behind that. But since it's obvious it's an Amazon product I wouldn't worry about those. It's the ones where you are posting about it in a blog post that you should think about cloaking. Hope that helped.

@AdrienneSmith40 I understand what you are saying, but my problem is that when I hover over the image (link), it doesn't show the pretty link in the left hand corner. It still goes where it's supposed to. It will take them to the correct page, but it's not cloaked on my actual site. I thought that was the entire point, was that when people visit the site they don't get scared off by the mumbo-jumbo in the corner. I appreciate the timely replies you are giving me, thank you very much.
@PianoLessonGirl I headed over to your site and hovered over your links so I'm not sure which ones you are talking about. I didn't see any of the links at all. Point me in the right direction and let me check it out. If you have created a pretty link and then have that one as the link to direct them to, then that should be enough. I have no idea why you are still seeing the affiliate link. Huh!!!

@AdrienneSmith40 Thank you! I downloaded Pretty Link Lite, but I'm still having trouble. I have watched a few how-to videos, but I cannot get the affiliate link to change. When I hover over the link on my site, there is still a long, ugly list of letters and numbers. I don't know what I am doing wrong, but, the link I create does send you to my amazon page, so it works halfway. Do you know what I might be doing wrong?
@PianoLessonGirl The link that you are giving to people should be the Pretty Link that was shortened. When they do click on the link itself, it's still going to show that it's an affiliate link no matter what you do to cloak it. In order to really hide your affiliate link you would need to purchase a new domain name and mask that link that you are forwarding them to. That's the only way you will ever get rid of affiliate links altogether. Hope that helped.
Your videos are great! You know my site is Pianolessongirl, and we have a lot of affiliate links on the site. Do you suggest that we go in and change each one individually, or is there a plug-in that you recommend for wordpress that will cloak the entire site without doing them individually? Thanks ahead of time!
@PianoLessonGirl There is a plug-in but you'll still have to cloak them individually. The plug-in will make it a little easier. It's Pretty Link Lite and it's a wordpress plug-in. It will mask your affiliate links so give that one a try. The plug-in is free.
