Learn how to multi task,set the trim levels properly and fly in heavy head and cross winds before opening your mouth. To real pilot AC fanboys make asses out of themselves. Figure out the difference between fantasy and reality fanboys and let people just enjoy AC or their sims.

Now im not bashing the series, im talking about the people who play the games and say they can easily pilot an aircraft without any training after playing AC for an hour. And since you fly gliders you should know that landing is the hardest part and even harder when the cross winds are strong.

@jedijaffy56 I fully agree. Love the AC series. But there is no emulation in AC series at all. That is why I go back and forth between an Arcade flight game and Simulation. One will have a major learning curve then the other while the other is a lot more fun. Both have Pros and Cons. But both are equally enjoyable.

Whats weird about it is at the end of every game (4,5,zero) the main character(s) always disappear. I'm kinda hoping they do a game with everyone in it. :P

@Nicholas339 Belkan War was just as good if not greater than Unsung War. I know I'm treading on some toes here, and I know 5 had more planes. But the rush Zero gave me was just amazing.

I mean Chopper became my fav wingman and I was in such an adrenaline hyped mode when I had to find Nagase in the snow level. Just the final stage was easy in my opinion. Assault horizon should have a co-op survival mode of a squadron.(6 Planes). with the last enemies as - Mobius 1, Cipher, Blaze, Pixy, Heartbreak 1 and Swordsman
@1Nefti1 man i desagree i think that blaze was the best pilot because he did more things and flew more misisons than everyone. he sunk two giant sumbarines he shot down the arkbird and the solg he flown inside that giant tunnel he took the "invicible fortress" and brought peace between tha two superpowers in my opinion
@APOSTASA idk man...Mobius 1 blew up Stonehendge, blew up Megalith faced down the (until that point) invincible Yellow Squadron along with the almighty Yellow 13 which was probably the most skilled enemy you ever face in all the AC's (based upon lore anyway) On top of that he single handedly has more kills and overall statistics than an entire squadron, and I believe Wardog is a squadron...You might say "Pasternick was better" but I blame his plane. Hamelton sure as hell wasnt good.

I find it wierd people are comparing the aces you pilot in the various games. They are only as good as you make them, and the coding allows. ;)
The diffrence lies in your skill because -you- are that ace.
Thats why you never "see" him/her in any of the games. all we can tell about blaze is that its a guy, but his face happenes to be covered by Choppers arm in that particular photo. As for the rest of them i dont think they are ever there.
@Fangthedragonwolf4 maybe Blaze would Finish second, i think it would be a close match between Mobius and Blaze actually, because Mobius was a true prodigy, and Mobius Completely Turned the tide of a war from losing to winning, which cant be said for Blaze, Both Yuktobania and Osea would have been equal without Aces like Blaze, Nagase, Chopper, and Grimm. That war would have dragged on forever. Mobius faced Overwhelming odds from the beginning, and he face squadrons of enemys alone. Unlike blaze
@flyby501 Cipher hands down, you have to combine all three stories of mercenary, soldier, and Knight to get the real picture of Cipher, Mobius was good, but he didnt face the odds that Cipher did, Cipher faced many more Ace Squadrons then Mobius and not just some Ace Squadron from a country not reguarded as a super power, but Aces from a country that is feared by the world, and that are reguarded as legends, even blaze in his first encounter with the belkan Airforce had trouble fighting them

@SovietUnion100 Well, technically, Ace Combat 5 follow Ace Combat Zero, of course the release order was vice versa and they're completely different games. But timeline wise... yeah, if you haven't played Ace Combat 5, I recommend it; STRONGLY.
That aside, I seriously think that this was the best way to end the game - a dogfight with your old wingman who clearly has the technological upper hand.

@SovietUnion100 Well, technically, Ace Combat 5 follow Ace Combat Zero, of course the release order was vice versa and they're completely different games. But timeline wise... yeah, if you haven't played Ace Combat 5, I recommend it; STRONGLY.

That aside, I seriously think that this was the best way to end the game - a dogfight with your old wingman who clearly has the technological upper hand.

PJ is not killed, but the wing is severed from his fighter......He returns in another game, but I won't tell which one or as which character. BTW Cipher is in Ace Combat Zero, 4, and 5.........................................He is your enemy in AC5 and you play as him in ACZ and AC4. Information about PJ from Acepedia!

@dragonbaas i don't remeber now ... but if i can do memory is more in Desert Arrow ... but posibly can be in 18+ ... but if you try to found a ace between the fuc....ing 8492nd squadron atacking you ... is pretty imposible ... well no if you have the ADF-01 as some ppl said (i only remain 2 parts ... but i can't playing because i don't had a PS2 TT u TT ... but this will be fix it soon) ....

@GarGet1 yes ... believe or not ... they're in the game too whit his real name: Galbarc ... is laughing they chasing a single plane whit the name: "Huckblein" ... the only easter egg in the game and the form to shut down galbarc is don't shut down the plain called "Huckblein" they inmediatly appeared and shut down him ... and also if you notice ... i mean a easter egg ... you can be witness of something who happen before AC5 ... you know ... is only 1 belka pilot called: "Huckbein the Raven"

yep ... i noticed that too when i play Mayhem again ... and read his call sing and remember: "he was shot down whit Huckebein 15 years ago" .... yep , that is cap. Barret , a.k.a: "Heartbreak one" ... also ... in mission 27: Aces from Ac5 .... Barret use a F-14A too in the game who if you pay attention to AC Zero is the same plane ... plus they appeared in Mercenary along whit Schwarze who chase "Pops" , and if you leave him in Ace mode Galbarc appeared

it will be awesome too the combat records of "Pops" before and during the Belka Wars ... Galbarc its looks like fear him in the past ... now imaginaed who awesome he was (and is during AC5) ...

I suddenly got SO nostalgic. This fight was so climatic, music, Pixy's "Still alive?", this amazing storyline.. This was one of the best PS2 games I have played, if not the best
