Loved the movie and thanks so much for posting it. Are you having any problems with youtube over the silent films? Talked to some others saying they are getting into hot water over these old public domain films. Curious if they were hassling you as well. I hope not.

I might be wrong, but in my opinion Golem is the monster called USSR and a lot of Jewish intellectuals took part in creating this monster. The star of Solomon instead of hart - is the star of USSR. Golem like USSR did a lot of distractions and a lot of harm. He also did good too. He saved people, in this context its defeating Germans and saving people from concentration camps. And like in a movie this monster was easily "turned off " my film history professor is laughing at my theory.

This movie is a work of art, the background, acting, etc. It may not seem scary today but back in 1920 it sure did. They didn't have saw back then sherlock. Its obvious your probably 8 years old and you probably spend 50% of your time playing video games. I hope someday you realise that this is a work of art.

I find it so creepy that this film was made in 1920 and by the start of the next decade the Holocaust began. That is just so eerie.

(including ovens and experiments on live people) in a little book which was banned and burned on orders of the Rabbinic court, and he himself was excomunicated !...

i had it xeroxed for me when i was there a few years ago (it's a small book - 70 pages), although the book was not allowed to be copied due to its very poor condition (few pages were missing). there're few copies in private collections.
