I spent so long trying to figure out the timing with both hands for bit right before the chorus... You sharing the time signatures and playing it slowly helped me figure it out! Thank you so much!
I've been playing the piano for 8 years and I still can't read sheet music effectively xD Watching you play and watching this tutorial helped much more than reading the sheets! :D
this has been very helpful :D thank you very much! I just wanted to see the techniques on some parts and you did very well on telling me how you play it. it's easier now, though the whole music is hard -_- I hope I can play it just like you did. great job :)
You have no reason to slow the notes down more. I'm sorry, but if you people cannot understand what he's showing you, you will not be able to play this. :P
thank you so much for making this video. It's insane. I will have to learn this later.
Thank you thank you thank you thank you, finaly an OWA tutorial. You are soooooo awsome. To bad you Can only like once . Finaly I Can lern this piece :D
Your tutorial markets to a very select field of people - those who can read sheet music well enough, but not well enough to not need this video tutorial. Most people who want to learn FF music won't be able to read sheet at all, and this video alone wouldn't be able to teach the composition. If you do more tutorials (which I hope you do, your setup is great for it: awesome piano and awesome camera angle), then I'd consider babying the notes more; explaining which notes you hit, slowing it down
My only concern with babying all the notes is, that the tutorial would be even longer (probably double time). I'd rather spend the time on showing some techniques. But I certainly went over some parts too fast.
@Atin1337 That would be useful! I don't know if you remember who I am, but I teach simpler versions of the FF songs on my channel - simple enough to 'baby the notes' as we've been saying, which in turn allowed me to get tons of subscribers and views. Although I can play piano at this video's level of difficulty, I'm terrible at reading sheet music. So if you do a reading sheet music video, I may just end up getting back into learning it! So please do :]
For your first tutorial, this was simply brilliant. You did it marvelously and, because this is 'One-Winged Angel', the length is completely expected. ;)
You really broke it down and made it seem much more realistic; I really enjoyed your explanations of the rhythms and how to start slowly with one thing running through your mind and, the faster it gets, the more it will flow.
Thank you SO much for taking the time to do this. :D

Maybe I should make a sheet reading tutorial...
