providence has pretty much the same team as last year, they just got better. So I wouldn't consider that "Recruiting someone." lockports just pissed they didn't win for once in their life this year...

Question: what are the categories now for State (I competed in 1995 - St. Charles H.S., before it was two schools)... small/medium, then large squad divisions? And what is this about Private Schools even competing against Public Schools IF there is this accusation that they CAN INDEED "recruit" cheerleaders? What's up with THAT MESS? Sounds like some RULES need to be changed big time, and I would think the IHSA would be ALL OVER that.

@USMCchic77 For IHSA cheerleading state there are four divisions: Small, Medium, Large, Co-Ed. The division you are put in depends on your school size. So there was a team this year, Andrew, that is in large but chose to have 14 girls (I think) on the floor, whereas the usual for large is about 20 girls on the floor. And this year apparently one man on the team isn't considered co-ed, Conant had a guy and they were in large. Public and Private schools don't matter, to my knowledge.

@dazzleglam123 The streamers at the end might have been counted as a safety deduction when a girl stepped on it when landing her tuck. If not, then I have no idea why they didnt win. I think they have prejudice against them because they throw sick ass skills and make it look like absolutely nothing.
