It's amazing the power of music. When this song first came out I had just gotten out of a 4 year relationship with my high school sweetheart whom I thought was the absolute love of my life and the one I would spend the rest of my life with. Everyone would ask how I was doing with the break up and I would say I'm fine and that I was over him but of course I was lying. Then he got a new gf and I was crushed even thought "I didn't care!" Funny cause now i'm engaged and getting married next May!
