I am guilty of using this on my super swampers when they came off the bead a lot. The difference being i was smart enough to remove the tire, not set a gas can 2 feet from the obvious explosion and then place the tire behind a large tree before setting it off. It really is a life saver at times.

I've done this before with starter fluid. It works but your better off removing the tire and laying it on the ground. I've also caught a tire on fire so its far from fool proof :)

nobody noticed the 1 gallon gas can only 10 feet away from the explosion. could have been a lot worse. Everyone including the cameraman would have gotten 2nd degree burns. Ive played with gasoline before... and yes I got burned.
