G0704 Belt Drive Pulleys

Hoss is there a place were you can purchase a belt drive for the G0704. I am interested in buying one of these mills for my self. Thanks Jammer Ed 2

What kind of coolant is that? I like that watery like charecteristic while mine is oily

Another way to make the timing belt pulley is by using the G81 drilling cycle. You can use either a couple drills, or a couple end mills. The smaller drill makes the tooth, while the larger makes the chamfer. If you use the drill method you will finish the out side dia after the drllling is complete. Hey Hoss to bad were not neighbors, we would have a great time knocking out all kinds of things.

but it wouldn't be able to get very close to the flange.

Unless I made a very tiny one, hmm.

Hai there Hoss...

I was just trying to make the toolpaths for a timing pulley since i hate spending money on something that should be so easy..

but now i was trying to make one with a full 4axis motion, and that would take a long time.

You just found a bit that has the right angles for T5 or something similar ?

Or do you have a how tome make your own timing bit 'how to' laying around..?

nice job hoss! i have a qucik question for you about the G0705: I have about $1500 right now...should i get the G0704 and tooling or save up a little bit more and get the IH manual mill? No cnc anytime soon.

@MyanmesKenny19 If you can handle getting it into your shop, wait for the IH.

The 0704 is great but half as big as the RF45s and IH.
