  • Lately when I'm doing meditation and go deep into it, I start feeling my whole body vibrating sometimes in waves. Hard to explain, but sometimes it is more intense than others. It usually happens when I my entire inner field is completely relaxed. The feeling is actually quite good though in a cool way, but I'm just wondering is this is just a phase people go through with regular meditation? When it happens, I just continue being relaxed and keeping my breath in its normal rhythm.

  • @rollinpace4lyf Sounds like a real good place you have found with your practice! It's hard to judge the intensity of the waves from what you've described, but it seems totally nature and nothing to be concerned by. I think a number of factors can determine the intensity of a meditation, so all I can say is keep up with what you are doing and know that you can go even deeper into the peaceful, relaxed, alert space of the inner-body. No matter how deep you go, there is still a deeper space!

  • Thankyou Greg. Keep raising peoples' frequencies!! Namaste.

  • @JosephChiuAus18 Thanks for your support! Will do!!

  • Really love this, I have just discovered it and it feels amazing

  • @TwoBabyMamas Keep practicing... there is no end to it's depth... used, but never used up!

  • Thanx for putting this video up, Greg....

A deeply relaxing, healing + transformational Meditation Practice!

  • @jmac6t7 Your so welcome! Yes, I completely agree with you on the transformational power of this meditation!

  • this whole process of being in the now is the truth and i know it to be true but i cant stay focused to it, being in school and being everywhere having to meet deadlines and stuff keeps pulling me away. i feel like id need to trap myself in a room for 2months to feel this presence. any suggestions?

  • @Sp33dyMik3 Thanks and you are not alone. I have kids, wife, a business... so much to manage! The key is to practice presence repeatedly throughout the day just for a few seconds. Everyone can do that. Some teachers say, "Rest in Awareness," or "Relax into this moment." Eckhart has stated that one conscious breath is a meditation! Just take that one conscious breath repeatedly throughout the day! This may even be difficult to do from years of thinking - so start with this breath!

  • This is important. I realize that sounds odd, but inner body awareness is the best way to happiness, foundation for the Now (ET).

  • @ckom9 Thanks!! Yes, inner body awareness is the foundation for the Now and the best way to happiness!

  • Greg this is awesome. I tried it and I felt more alert afterwards. like attentive. Question though: why is it that people dont believe in this and what can i do to take this to another level, far as, reaching the level that eckhart has reached.

  • @lexxisx Thanks! They don't believe it because the ego/pain-body gets in the way of an experience of the meditation and the teachings. Each person comes to these deeper truths in their own time and the best thing you can do is walk the talk and inspire them through your example. How to take to the experience to another level? Commit to regular practice and also meditate in groups. A group experience of this meditation will amplify the effects and accelerate your growth.

  • Greg, is focusing on the breath as effective as feeling the innerbody?

  • @quantum1field Great question! The breath is a great place to start if you are new and a great place to re-visit even if you are a master. It is easy to find and to focus your attention on. I have found that feeling into the inner-body the most expansive meditation experience I have ever discovered. And the more I feel, connect, acknowledge, and explore, the stronger it emerges into my life. The breath is a doorway to the inner-body, and the inner-body is a doorway to the One Life, or God

  • Hi Greg,thanks a lot mate :)

  • If everything is ultimately formless, then what we are is nothing. The energy felt when not thinking is physical subconscious energy we are not normally aware of. Anything else or beyond is that which cannot be explained in words or physically expressed. It may be awareness or subtle manifestation IMHO. Great video with some great insights.

  • do mooji.....

  • Greg, when I meditate and put awareness on my body, I get powerful contractions in my stomach. They come from anxiety of a phobia I developed after a concussion (phobia of hitting my head) which affects my everyday life. Question is, do I allow these contractions to be and become the space for all feelings and physical symptoms of anxiety or do I directly work on trying to relax my contractions (and therefore possibly supress the emotions which come in the form of contractions)?

  • I would recommend you do both - allow for space and also relax the contractions by giving this area of your body your conscious attention. Your conscious attention is energy that can heal the physical body. By giving your conscious attention to the physical symptoms, you are not suppressing the emotions, but rather healing the physical condition. You can also give space and allow the contractions to arise and then fall. As long as you are growing in presence, this will also be healing.

  • Greg, is there any connection between "Third Eye Meditation" and "Inner Body Awareness"?

  • I'm not familiar with the Third Eye Meditation (TEM) so it is hard to comment. The core of the inner body meditation is to refrain from any focus on form and just be the inner energy field that you are - that is the core of who you are. So if the TEM has any focus on the physical form at all, then I would hesitate to say the two have any connection. But do let me know how I can find our more about the TEM

  • Hi Greg, all I know of TEM is from web searches . As I understand/practice it, I just put my attention/awareness/consciousness on the middle of my forehead, between and above the eyebrows. Like putting attention on the feeling of my feet, hands, back, abdomen, chest, shoulders, lips, head, etcas Tolle says. So, couldn't Middle of Forehead be included in that list of body parts? Doing this seems to stop my thoughts rapidly, and secrets endorphins into my body. Would like your insight.

  • Yes, like putting attention on the third eye (forehead) would be the same as putting your attention on any other body part. But, the body parts are only portals or access points for a deeper experience of the inner body. The inner body is not a part of the physical body, but rather the formless inner energy field at the core of all beings, forms, objects. The ultimate goal is to transcend form and experience the formless - the deepest essence of who you are.

  • @GregLarsen Hi Greg I have a question. I have bine watching the pain body on & off alot for the last 2days. I never felt better & now it not only comes back when Im awake but last night I had a dream I was so mad I started cursing @ my mother!! I know I would never do that. can to be aware in my sleep.

  • @Thet3 Yes, my pain-body finds dream time an easier place to create negative energy. The best solution I've discovered is to practice the inner-body meditation before falling asleep. I have found it challenging to beware in a dream, so prefer meditation before going to sleep

  • @GregLarsen & is it normal to feel actual pains when watching the pain body

  • @Thet3 I wouldn't say it is normal, but definitely possible. The pain-body is manipulating your energy field and that can translate into a physical pain. So the practice is to watch the physical pain until it subsides.

  • @GregLarsen Thanx!!!

  • If you relax you won't suppress you will let it out of your system! All the best!

  • I just ove your delivery of this Greg - I have come back several times and the experience is always blissful.

    I can't thank you enough :-)

  • What an excellent exercise in the power of being here now!

    Thanks so much for sharing

    Love

  • That which takes one away from a spiritual goal is darkness.

  • Well then what you have said "tolleisadeceiver" is Logical.and True. That's because maybe he promotes darkness in the way that he does promote the acceptance and the pure intention for you to realize your surroundings, who u are..and what is. Ultimately bringing forth your Reality.

thinking otherwise well is just calling yourself unintelligent. i mean right? or perhaps you did not understand yet.

  • Thank you for your comment. If this is how you feel, then a powerful question to ask is: How am I a liar and deceiver? Honestly answer this question and see if your need to judge others diminishes.

  • Your inner body must have been dormant as you read my post.... take a deep breath and read it again... and this time try reading it with your eyes open... dont look at your hand... look at my post...

see, it says tolle is a liar and a deceiver... i did not say you were a liar and a deceiver.

I have no need to JUDGE anyone... but to expose deception and darkness and that is what tolle promotes.

enjoy being aware of your body attachments!

  • Hmm. Think about this. So you think Eckhart Tolle is a liar and deceiver.

Is that truly so? Could it not be so that you've gotten so accustomed to the lies of daily life, that the truth seems a lie?

I would actually like to know why you think of Tolle as a liar. Simply saying "he is a liar" has no value. Please elaborate on your statement.

  • without even reading ur profile i can tell u are a religious zealout of some order.

  • Thank you , Excellent video.

    :)

  • I can see the shadows from the people sitting in the room on the beige colored walls. Thats so cool!

  • nice Greg, you used the tolle's 'feel your hand with your eyes close thing'. Its so powerfull. When I finish my inner body practice (after an hour or so) I feel like this huge vibrating (energy?) field its sooo amazing. and you just fele totally grounded. awesome! you recognize this? beautiful you've put these videos online! thanks!

  • Hello Aber, I can relate to your post. How is innerbody awareness going for you now, a year later? Are you still feeling the vibrating energy? I feel it each time I do it. It has been a week of of daily practice now, though the first time I tried it along with this video was almost a year ago. Curious to know if it will still feel as a good a year from now, or if these vibrations are figments of my imagination.

  • Thank you, Greg. This practical method helps clear up what has been a little abstract for me and probably others. I am awake but but I feel going deeper has been hit and miss. This "inner body awareness" is what ET CONSTANTLY points to and your distillation of this cornerstone practice is a blessing. Thank You!

    Andrew

  • Hi Andrew,

The inner body exercise has been the most effective tool I have ever discovered. This one practice has transformed my life. All the best on your journey!
