  • So what ever happened? Did she find a new home?

  • They just need love & respect, just as people do. Wish could adopt every animal like this, so sad :( Such a cutie!

  • Such a messed up world sometimes :( I adopted my bun when he was 3 yrs old, was warned he is cage aggressive & still recovering from a health issue. The 1st week he bit me so hard i thought needed stitches, & while waiting in the ER i wondered if made a mistake. BUT that night, i came home he ran up to me & thats when i really fell in love. He still bit a couple times when picking him up, but never drew blood... 6 yrs later he is the most spoiled & loved bun ever. no aggression & so loving.

  • bunnie burgers...

  • I would adopt her. Happily. :)

  • Wahh I just got teary D:

  • I find that the smarter rabbits tend to be cage aggressive. They just need a good, rabbit savvy owner that respects their cage space. You don't need to be all up in their cage to have a good pet and companion.

  • Worth saving definitely. She can stay with me on my farm. I keep rabbits there as a rescue not a place for people to harm or eat them. They get tons of timothy hay, sunshine and water. And they roam freely in giant fenced in, screened in pens. Nothing but soil and grass on their feet. Haven't had a predator get one yet.

  • My rabbit was cage protective and that way fine with me, I just secured him away while I was cleaning and sanitising his hutch. He was part of the family and everyone in a family should have a place that is theirs where they don't have to share it with anyone else. Getting rid of a pet just because it's "cage-protective" how pathetic some people can be. They don't deserve pets if they can't adapt and accomodate for the needs of the animal both mentally and physically.

  • Aww. A Flemish, too isnt she? So sad. :*( She was probably abandoned because her former People didnt know what they were getting into with a Flemish. They get to OVER 13 pounds. My flemish baby weighs 19 pounds.

  • Thats actually disgusting. To think, people actually do that to rabbits? Rabbits cant do anything to help themselfs, they cant bark like dogs, they cant meow like cats, they have been known to scream but thats in really bad cases.

    Some people really are stupid.

  • Thanks for what you're doing for the rabbits...ALL of you...I've had house rabbits for years, all but 2 adopted from the House Rabbit Society. When Muffin's companion died last April, she was so sad. Told some friends about it and they gave us the rabbit they had found, left in a vacant house for 3 wks...to die. What's wrong with people? Now he's got a girlfriend and livin' in the lap of luxury!

  • I have almost 20 rescues (some born at my house) It's sick what some people do. My latest rescue was a 4 week old baby taken from her mom way too early, starved, shipped in the cold, put in a glass tank she couldn't stand up in, beaten, and for a week she lived in peace with me but had to be put to sleep when she collapsed. She had alot of bad injuries due to her abuse and it was best to put her out of her misery. Rest in sweet peace Daisy :'(

  • thats so sad

  • did she ever find a home

  • just pull its neck until you hear it snap phwwoooaarrrr

  • If she was sooo vicous, why didnt they spay her! :'(

  • poor rabbit :'( i used to have a rabbit and she was so sweet she would sit on the couch and watch tv and even eat cat food with my cat. my cat even liked her they were friends True story. why would any one be that sick to abandon something that sweet and innocent. Rabbits are wonderful pets. People like that should not be allowed to adopt animals .

  • Was she ever adopted?! I had (have) a vicious bunny as well. I rescued her from a sad situation, she was kept in a cage all day while the dog tormented her, so she turned into a biter. Took her out of the cage and let her be a house bunny and she's great! Once she got used to the house and people, her entire attitude changed! Not the same rabbit at all! :)

  • I have a mini lop who is nurished well. She has a cage that is at least 6x her size plus a playpen that is large enough to fit her litter box, some toys, timothy hay and fruit bowls, and room for her to hop around some. So she can get the serious "Wiggles" out, I let her run around my room every day or to for about half an hour, doesn't sound like much, but usually after that time she gets tired and bunny flops. When my bro moves out she's actually getting his room to herself though! Spoiled lop

  • thats just sad how people abandon her i want to abandon the people that abandoned her GRRRRRRRR

  • has she been adopted? I hope so, wish I could but have two cats that are older. It rips my heart out that people take on pets and don't know how to take care of them or dispose them as if they are not a living being. I hope she has a new home now.

  • omg look at her facial expression, i can tell she is crying/sobbing

  • HI,

does she still need a home?

  • I'll love to take her home. I have 2 rabbits at home and they enjoy it.

  • I agree with Nesysli. I hate when ppl abandon their pets. How cruel is that? How can you abandon smth you've lived with for so long and love. Ppl who keep their pets but make them suffer by not taking proper care for them are cruel too!

  • We had a Holland lop we had him for about 4 yrs.

Gorgeous Rabbit but he didn't like men....................he would try to bite them

I could feed him and my youngest son could but no other males

One morning woke up and he was side ways in the cage he could not sit up straight

Took him to the vet. he had to be put to sleep.

Still miss him to this day and this was over 7 yrs ago

  • In Responce to AnimeLinks. Zoo amimals, dogs and horses wouldnt live more than a month if released from captivity. Once an animal is dependant on humans for food and shelter, say goodbye to freedom. Rabbits are actually better off in the wild after captivity than ANY dog, horse or zoo animal

  • Musher88, be careful what you say. Too many people think it's ok to dump a pet rabbit in the wild, when in reality they don't have the skills necessary for survival. NO animal raised by humans should be expected to fend for itself.

  • dude who would abandon that cute thing

    :(

  • ahhh..how sad

  • Cry all you want. It's reality. People think they can just abandon any animal they please and it'll find its' way. IN INFURIATES ME TO SEE PEOPLE DO THAT. ONLY REDNECKS WOULD DO THAT. THE ANIMAL HAS NO KNOWLEDGE OF WHAT TO DO OR WHERE TO GO. Any animal can be traumatized after something like that. I give my rabbit and animals all the attention I can. Tomorrow, I already planned making her an obstacle course and cleaning out her cage to give her fresh straw. =) Think of your animal.

  • tapxodoll, you are right about the zoo animals and dogs and cats but think of the guinepigs, hampsters, bunnys, small dogs, that are cute and have low survival chances they SHOULD be cared for but big dogs , horses, zoo animals, should be freeded because they can support themselves

  • @Tehscottinator I really wish you were a choice cut of steak right now. I would cut love to dig a fork into you and cut you up and just sizzle you on a skillet.

  • people need to leave the "wild" animals where they belong!

  • Some people are real idiots! If your getting a pet rabbit, get as a pet until it passes away, don't release it. Mostly people get them for there 4 year old kids who absolutely love them, until three weeks later. When they release it, why get it as a pet dumbass?

  • im about to start crying

  • Poor sweet girl, she is simply scared. You can see it in her eyes. I have 5 rescue bunnies, all free roam in my home, and litter trained. Also, a bunny-proofed home. They are simply amazing, and I love them dearly. For the girl that asked about paper-work, perhaps you should not get a bunny if 2 pages of info to insure the bunnie's welfare is too much to ask. Just saying...

  • @chickwithbuns i have a rabbit myself she's 9 years old , i think that no pet should be train to do things

  • @chickwithbuns You ma'am are a bunny Goddess, I can't wait til I move out, I'll have mine running around the house too. :D

  • Aww that is so sad! My bunny is cage protective but he is still a good bun. This is why people should read about bunnies before they get one. She is a sweet girl and I hope that she found her forever home.

  • poor bunny. people are stupid. maybe they should have read a book before getting a rabbit. most bunnys are cage protective, dosent make them mean. my rabbit hates when i put my hands in her cage and will growl and nip at me. but when i let her out she runs around and plays and is just fine. poor bun.

  • euthanasia for being cage protective? just dont stick ur frickin hands in the cage, or wear gloves. I used to have a rabbit named kujo that bit me all the time lol didnt make me wanna kill it. geeze.

  • thats a cute bunny, who would leave that cute bunny

  • Aw, that poor baby =(

  • I would totally adopt her. I have a rabbit, and I know that those 2 would totally get a long. I feel so bad now that I could cry. Please find a home little bunny, move on with your life. :-(

  • can i have her ill adopt her lol its adorable we cryed from this vid

  • what are you, the bunny whisperer?

  • The line "She thinks her people are coming back for her" made me burst out in tears.. have adopted two bunnies from animal shelters, but can't fit any more into my tiny house.. oh the poor baby girl!

My Josephine nipped me occasionally when she was young... a lot of patience and love and conditioning so that she was used to me holding her has made her a peaceful and beautiful girl who loves to be patted.

  • My momo and ah girl would nip...but still love them. Nip or not...will still grab them for hugs. LOLz...both are strays.

  • Aww bless her. She seemed misunderstood by her previous owners. Hope she finds a better home.

  • So these people abandoned her just for using her teeth a few times? That is quite sad my rabbit bite me all the time in the beginning then we both learning each others bounderies and rules. We got to know each other.

  • Did she find someone?

  • poor dear..... I adopted a biter myself... her name is ellie and she was a stray. She still nips and digs at you when you hold her.. but she's very sweet reallyand she's getting much better.. learning not to bite...shes always excited when you come up to her pen, and loves to be stroked. I dont know why she was abandoned but it wouldnt have been her fault... people buy bunnies... but are never prepared for when they become rabbits. that rabbit is not vicious.. her people were just ignorant.

  • Has anyone adopted her? Her story made me cry.

  • I really hope she found a good home!

  • Poor cutie. I'd love to have but my cats don't like bunnies and the dogs don't like the cats x.x but yeah, she IS worth saving. If I was her I'd be terrified too. She just needs to be cuddled and given some tlc.

  • i almost cried when i watched this video. =( My bunny looks exactly like Lavender, you can see here in one of my videos. Bunnies are one of the cutest animals ever!

  • This is a incredibly video! My bunny Jack can relate to Lavender. People thought he was a big meanie too with his huge growl and huffing. But that's what scared bunnies do! I'm sending out "forever home" vibes for Lavender!

  • she look identical to my nans rabbit

  • This makes me so mad and sad. My husband and I adopted a bunny from the House Rabbit Society in Charleston, SC and recently took in a rabbit that we found hoping around our apartment, apparent that he was an Easter present and someone had just let him go. When we first took in both rescued bunnies it took some time for them to warm up to us but I can't imagine my life without them.

  • poor baby!! OF COURSE she is "worth" saving!!

she just needs to find a GOOD LOVING FOREVER HOME, where she can gradually warm up to her new owner :)

Lavender, a cute name AND she IS very pretty!!

If I was a little bunny rabbit left behind I would be scared and worried too!! without a home!!

I don't think "vicious" is the right word for her situation. And she's only in that situation because of mankind...

I hope she'll find a GOOD home soon!!
