My concern is also with the 25,000-30,000 US casualties as well. They died to dismantle Hussein's WMD's. That was the objective. Truly shameful.

@TysterS I was against both the Wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. Had the US focused on hunting down bin Laden and his network we would have achieved what Obama did last year a long time ago. One of the reasons I was against the Iraq War was due to a report by Amnesty International that such a war would lead to high civilian casualties. My concern is also with the 25,000-30,000 US casualties as well. They died to dismantle Hussein's WMD's. That was the objective. Truly shameful.

But don't you find it ironic that other than Lancet we cannot identify an authoritative source on this subject. Colin Powell was asked about civilian casualties in the initial stages of the war. His response indicated that the government was not concerned with that. Governments always undercount civilian casualties. They did it in Vietnam.

Occupy Wall Street is just stupid. Some of the root reasons for the 'protesters' to be there are good and well-founded, but I have yet to see much sense come out of any Occupy event. I stand against much of what they claim to hate, but their solutions and ideas are plain rubbish. They are illogical and hypocritical, even outright destructive in many cases. Tack on comments from people in this video, and I *almost* want a complete eviction from the cops.

Even then our founding fathers knew that Africans selling their citizens to slavery was wrong and and made provisions for the South for a short period and it was to be totally abolished in our country but the South reneged. This, along with the creation of the Republican Party, ultimately resulted in the Civil War and America's abolishment of this evil, dumbass!

@fatdanios I am at the Downtown L.A. public library as we speak. But since you can't give me the answer, I will do so. 1787. The Constituional Convention was held in 1787. It did not include the Bill of Rights. They were added in 1791. People like Alexander Hamilton argued against adopting a Bill of Rights. Most of the state constitutions had bill of rights. That's because the people pressured their local governments just like OWS. The federal government had to listen to the people.

I graduated high school in 1969 and back then we were required to have a fundamental understanding of the US Constitution, the Bill of Fights and the subsequent amendments. I would personally love to hear some clear and concise ideas from the OWS what exactly do they want to see changed. So far, I have not. They were given several hours of free air time on KFIam 640 to do so, but failed miserably.
