Are you fricking kidding me!! the Bad Brains were, I should re-phrase, ARE the Most Influential band in the Hardcore music scene, and even broader to Reggae, Punk, Metal, and Rock. Not the most in Reggae, Metal, and Rock, but still influenced a lot of bands. Plus these guys have what B.R. doesn't, GOD!! Selassie I the Mighty God! They have positive thinking.

These guys base there music off "what ifs" and "science" RasTafari is found in every corner of the Bible, plus other books recently found like "The Kebra Nagast" and "The Lost Prophet of the Bible: Enoch the Ethiopian, Greater the Abraham, Holier Then Moses". B.R. went to be Mtv stars. the BAD BRAiNS turned down record deals to stuff like Epic, Atlantic, and many more.

I checked out Bad Brains at your suggestion and they are now one of my favorite bands. you are correct that they do kick a hell of a lot of ass but on the same topic they are almost compleatly diffrent types of punk and it's like comparing apples to oranges or more like spy apples to red delicious still to much diffrence to make a true comparison

Ever seen the Soundgarden "Black Hole Sun"-Vid...in my opinion thats one of the greatest ever. The Prodigy "Smack my bitch up"-Vid is pretty cool as well. You ight call both of them mainstream...well i am saying is that the videos are great and in my opinion way better than the "Modern Man" video... Check out the Sublime "Date Rape" vid...thats kinda cool too
