yes after a 6 year run with BMW (E30 M3) for race and rallying, Prodrive was approached by Subaru and signed a contract with them that lasted thru the 90's ending I believe in 2008.
I could watch a RWD rally car fishtail around the track all day long, because it is so unconventional which brings about all that fun :)) I would not want to be the co-pilot in it though.
It would be nice to see what the beast of a AWD BMW 3.25 iX E30 could do on the same track, not that I cannot imagine...
