If this was gaelic football or aussie rules the game would have been stopped immediately.

International rules however is such a bizarre makey-uppey sport that I'm sure most of the players probably thought the dog was supposed to be on the pitch.

You get extra points for scoring in 'dog-time' or something.

If a rhinoceros came onto the pitch they'd probably just shrug their shoulders and play around it.
