My American friends used to criticize the Chinese government for things like this. In a scarey change, the US is now the country trying to prevent their own citizens access to information. This is like some Orwelian scenario come to life. I could not believe this was under consideration when I first heard about it. Since then it has just got even more scarey as government and the media conspire together to defraud their own people.
