Actually they continue on in a different venue.. Same band, different name/genre.. Look up Trans Siberian Orchestra.. Yes.. it is Savatage.. check em out. They still Rock...
my idea of what music is, is ability, creativity and composition, people slander metal try to say they try too hard or add to much, but to the trained ear of a musician listenin to every detail makes a world of sence if what they say is true (to them) then it goes for more than metal, what about classical music, motzhart and bethoven they had hundred piece orchestras and 30 minute songs, it was the metal of its time.
I still think this is a band that fell through the cracks and how with their vast, incredible catalog never got an ounce of recognition from anyone except other musicians. But as fate would have it, TSO was born. So I guess they have the last laugh. Still would like to see another proper tour with either Jon or Zak singing, or both.
@pbl4499 i would lay down a stack of cash to see these guys live. i would be partial to the Edge/Handful lineup (as many of them as are practical at least). always thought these guys didn't get enough mainstream love.
The one person who doesn´t like the song is either stupid or Rapper! xD So awesome this band and this track. So sad they´re no more. But their music will be there always! Thankx Savatage!
@Strap1205 Some people don't get the same feeling people get when listen to this. For example, 2 people may like it, but not in the same way. Maybe for one of them is a sad song, and to the other this song means hope.
And by the way, Im not trying to teach you a lesson or whatever, it's just that things are more deep than taste, I don't pretend to be rude or whatever
