I have yorkies to, that is a uncomfortable position for a dog to be in, especially if going on long rides. bugs can fly in his ears and that's just to much wind for his little body to take. they have dog carriers for motorcycles if you have to take him, not a backpack.

how did you get the shades to stay on his/her head? did you put elastic on them to keep them in place? I just got a 12 week old griffon pup, I put him in my dog carrier/backpack on my back on my motorbike too, he likes it, he already knows he is going some place fun and hops right in the pack and lays down.
